This vintage photo shows Byron Nelson and Ben Hogan in 1941. The two were rivals as teens growing up and playing in Fort Worth but had completely opposite personalities and were never close. It hangs with a number of other historic photos in the men's locker room at CCC.
Colonial is a private golf club and is host to an annual PGA Tour event. It is the longest running PGA Tour event to be held at the same site. The course opened in 1936 and hosted the US Open in 1941.
One of a number of TVS leased for the busy summer period, This 20 year old 737 is seen here at Rhodes (RHO) having just arrived from Cologne (CGN) as EWG57J.

A Key Lime-flavored reflection at the Thief River Falls Regional Airport with one of Key Lime's Denver Air Connection Dornier 328s resting between work on the TVF-MSP route. Thief River Falls recently set a single flight record with 47 travelers on the Christmas Eve. Records like this are not possible with direct flights on larger aircraft. In the days of Mesaba Airlines, flights to Thief River Falls made an intermediate stop in Bemidji or even Hibbing which greatly reduced ticket availability travelers to and from here.
