Izzy was sitting on the TV box this morning and I took a couple of photos of her as she look so cute. Then while I was going for a 3rd photo she yawned.
It's actually a lovely morning out and may stay so for the rest of the day, with any luck. But; even if I do get out, this was just a terrific catch and I'd have used it for today's photo, whatever else I might get/or have got.
It's not picture perfect, but what the heck!

A freezing cold day today and I didn't feel like going out at all. I was busy in the morning and grabbed this quick photo of Izzy as a back up for today.
It felt even colder this afternoon, although it was lovely and sunny I'd lost all incentive to get out.
She'd been outside, but while I was doing something in the bedroom she came in. Instead of sitting on the coffee table as usual, she jumped up behind the TV and sat on the 'Livebox play' box. I was watching so carefully that she didn't move before I'd taken her lead off, I didn't want the TV on the floor!!
It's not the best photo of her, but it was the only one of about half a dozen that came out well enough.

Like magicians Penn and Teller, we are not afraid to show you how the magic is done. Some of you are already wondering “…a TV box? What? Why?”
This shot illustrates one of the challenges we face with every shoot using the new bases. How do you transport the base with all those delicate trees and shrubs?
There are no plastic tubs or storage containers big enough to hold a 2’ by 3’ piece that has trees standing 9 inches tall. The adjustable box built to move a flat-screen TV was adapted to the purpose. Trees still stick above the sides, so we can’t stack anything on top of the thing but it does fit in the trunk of the car OK. IN fact, it is sitting in the trunk of the Packard right now! It was the only place with room to store it. As we learned, when turned upside down, the box is also a handy way to get the base elevated above the shrubbery alongside the road.
This image also reveals how we are able to combine pieces to craft a scene. There are three base pieces in this shot. The main base piece with one of the table leaves unfolded, the two-lane highway sitting on top of the table leaf and a landscaped edge piece on the far left of the table. It was crafted out of left-over foam core and trees to act as a screen to hide the edges of the base or table. It has appeared in the BG of a few images crafted with the new bases.
Now that you see South Valley Park as it really appears, don’t you want to go hiking there?

Me and a friend of mine were walking around the North Lanes and found a broken abandoned TV box, which we took away, bought some crisps and found a deserted urban place with birds for me to lie on the ground and take pictures while she was feeding them.
I guess we're lucky they was not flying above as as they had a lot of food for this sequence!
I did not capture it with a tripod, was just lying on the street

Beavis loved playing in the box, so finally we set it upright and let him learn to jump out of it. He learned pretty fast! After a few tries, he could get out of it in 1 jump!

Box supplied to me doesn't have hard reset button. See that "update" circuit. It lies beneath the hole that's supposed to be inserted with toothpick for hard reset into recovery.
