I was offered the opportunity to write a tutorial for Advanced Photoshop magazine back in January... at last it's been published.
The tutorial uses my WLTB™ urban flat shot to educate and inspire fellow Photoshop users into generating their very own architectural abstract images.
It's quite complicated... so don't say I didn't warn you :-)

Short video tutorial on how to make a 7 wrap thread crochet bullion stitch.
I find that three things help me in making bullion stitches:
#1: I make sure the wraps are evenly side by side against my crochet hook, snuggled together.
#2: When I yarn over, I yarn over at least 1/2 inch away from the wraps and then I pull the thread through the wraps. (the extra thread that you skip winds up in the middle of the bullion stitch)
#3: I hold the wraps gently but firmly in place with my left hand as I pull the thread and crochet hook through the middle of the bullion stitch.
I've been asked alot in here, f mail, facebook about how do i edit my photos and after long thinking I decided to let everyone know my methods on editing my photos and specially how i give them the grainy-old look

This is a fast tutorial on how to make the frosted facet beads.
I took inspiration from Jibby and Juna's fragment carvings:
www.flickr.com/photos/jibbyandjuna/4911273642/
and Beadworx's metallic powders.

1. Make a sheet of black polymer clay and roll it up into a tube. This one was about 6" x 1/2" diameter.

So I´ve entered the world of tutorials. I knew it was hard and a lot of work, but this hard!!
I´ve been teaching classes in Stockholm a couple of years but that is different. For the students there I can show with my hands. But only explaining in words...
I admire every artisan making tutorials even more now.
:)

I've attached all leaves and painted the stem in a greenish brown.
(This tutorial was greatly inspired by Sandra's tutorial posted here and on her lovely blog bonequea.com. Go check it out, if you haven't already seen it : )!)

This is my new background (painted myself) in action.
( Continue along until you have all your pieces sewn on. )
Now we're left with a gap between piece one and piece 15. ( there's probably a correct way to not end up with this gap but it's my first paper-pieced pattern so if anyone has any tips, please let me know! )
We're going to tear away the paper at this point - you'll be glad you used tiny stitches! Be careful not to pull too tightly. If you used freezer paper it should just tear right out.
