The tutorial actually had one more layer to it, but flickr has a time limit on videos. To build subsequent layers, just do what I did for the last layer shown here. (Add that hexagonal star to the top, add magnets to the corners, and fill in the spaces in between.) After the next layer however, gaps and imperfections start to show.
I was actually kind of lucky that it ended where it did because it was right in between the layers, so it didn't look like it was cut off in a weird spot.
There are other methods to making this, but I find that this method creates the most stable resulting shape.
Weave a wire basket, and fill it with sparkling bead flowers. Make your creation even more special by selecting the birthstone colors of your family for the flowers.
