DIY: Quilled Flower Locket Tutorial 2
Blogged: www.allthingspaper.net/2013/11/diy-quilled-flower-locket-...
This is some sort of tutorial on how I do my brick wall backgrounds. Though scrapbooking papers can give you a very realistic and easy brick background, sometimes I love to make a "real" wall with texture and color.
The wall is made out of styrofoam, the window is made of foamboard.
Not much done, yet. Please ignore the blue paints, they're from a different project.
If your side pieces are not symetrical, mark which is the right side piece and which is the left side piece. Mark the center top of both side pieces. Also mark the center on each side of the main piece and which end is the front.
Please note that there are two pages to this tutorial
Small note to people who add this to their favourites ... I freely share the tutorials. In return, the only thing I ask is that you do the same. Bottom line: block me from viewing your stuff, and I'll return the favour

When I first started using my serger, I was loathe to change the threads to different colours. If you've ever had to rethread an overlocker, you know what a super huge pain it can be. Tiny little holes, deep in the machine and there's usually three or four threads. Mine needs some long handled tweezers, a sharp pair of scissors and heaps of patience. Somewhere along the way, my mum tipped me off that there's an easier method.
Viu? Quase invisível.
Eu usei esse verde de propósito, mas qualquer cor menos chocante ficaria invisível mesmo.
