Have a good one

After exploring the chilly trail around was so relaxing to sit on hot rocks by the lake

Lake Pukaki, Mackenzie District, Canterbury Region, South Island, New Zealand.

The water colour of the lake is a bright turquoise due to glacial flour, made from extremely fine rock particles that have come from the surrounding glaciers.

From our trip to New Zealand last spring. The amazing blue water of Lake Pukaki was unbelievably beautiful and truly a sight to behold.

Many thanks for all the kind comments and faves on my images. Stay safe and have a good weekend everyone.

Macro Mondays - Stone

Happy Macro Monday everyone.

An old Dodge truck on the grounds of a home near Ardoch, ND.

Also known as the Turquoise-fronted Amazon or Parrot, this species has been considered to be one of the most abundant of its genus. Unfortunately currently it is a nearly threatened species. Very heavily trapped for cagebird trade. This was a free and wild one photographed at Pantanal - Brazil.

Wishing everyone a peaceful week and good luck to the Brazilian soccer team!

Thanks a lot for your visits, comments, faves, invites, etc. Very much appreciated!
