I love the way the sun scatters through the trees at the end of the day as it becomes part of the horizon.

Left turn to Talsarnau Station, Gwynedd, North Wales.

run trains from Talsarnau to Harlech.
12 minutes, fastest 10.
You can get from Talsarnau to Barmouth an average of 42 minutes.
Talsarnau to Porthmadog usually 18 minutes, Quickest 16. Just a few places !!!
Many southbound trains from Harlech go on passed Shrewsbury to Birmingham, while Northbound continue to Porthmadog and Pwhelli.
Got an early 2025 train outing under my belt, a quick overnighter to the Needles Sub at Siberia. Train traffic was steady on the Friday evening, and I was surprised by a headlight as sunset approached, as I hadn't seen a train descent Bolo hill, and was expecting to be skunked. It turned out to be a tank train that had been recrewed at Amboy, and it passed me in about as good of light as I could ever want.
23/08/2016; I mostly wanted to make a photo of the Scheveningen pier ferris wheel during the blue hour, but ofcourse I also had to climb the Bungy tower while I was there early.

Astley Green Mining Museum walkabouts
Liked this place a lot. Run by volunteers whose aim is to keep the history of coal mining alive. Great for general walkabouts with all sorts of heavy industrial equipment wanting you to take a photo.
Was smitten with this place & the bunch of lovely ex mining folk who made me very welcome, thank you
Chunks of old iron sat forlorn rusting away are probably the uninteresting photos you could think of !! so with this set I've gone for a 'cross colour' edit & as usual kept the white border , experimented with B&W which was my idea from the off but thought the watered down colours added a little more to the image, any feed back or tips would be appreciated ;-)))))))))
The reach stacker trucks at Hams Hall busy themselves with the work in hand as 09004 carrying its pre-TOPS number of D3668 draws a rake of empty flats forward for loading.
I think this is a Minotaur Beetle (Typhaeus typhus) either killed or found dead by wood ants at RSPB Arne.
What do you foresee on your next page?
there is always more to tell
than what's already been told
much more to follow
merely waiting for hermetic time to unfold
here we go, take the plunge
into the water, out of the blue
gilt-edged pages to read by Autumn's fireside
the open air of endless words...
just turn the esoteric page outside
it's only you and the 'me' in words unseen
page 2 will endeavour to appease the devout
if your initial précis remains insufficient,
call upon the future and dowse the past,
with heavenly spirit so omniscient
words await your tales to tell
the next pages, over and again
nature's opportune cinéma vérité unfurled
one becomes two becomes oh-so-you
a raison d'être within our beautified world.
