A person, who values the beauty of nature and ambient the world, far richer and happier than those, who did not notices this.

With the sun on my back I traveled down trail 3 of Turkey Run State Park. I came upon a pretty large group ahead of me so I decided to hang back and let some distance grow between us. As I was waiting I turned around to see this nice scene, the narrow trail with the morning sun shining through the trees.
Taught me to slow down, stop sometimes and take a look around because you never know when a composition will appear.

Another very early start for us on our trips out for holiday fortnight. Lucky for us there were huge pockets of mist all over the place as we headed for the Mach Loop however, the scene at Bala was incredible and we spotted a few boats (just) shrouded in the mist and had to do a quick about turn and grab some shots. Never shot in mist before and it's all a learning curve, mainly not knowing the camera would under expose significantly. Good job I checked before we left or I would have had a number of shots straight for the trash bin!
Nice touch by the gull to swim past just at the right time too, what a nice bird he was.

This picture was taken from 6 F of terrace in Hibiya midtown.
I placed a camera on the pole which is between the fence and took a picture.
The car light which turns left is fascinating, so upload.
Thank you very much for comments, tips and critique....
Made it to 'Explore - Most Interesting' # 22 ♥
Chance loves water. He's actually obsessed with water. He goes to the tub after we shower and licks and rolls around in the wet tub. He sits in the kitchen sink for long periods of time and stares at the faucet hoping the wet stuff will come flowing out. Sometimes when I do the dishes I have to put him in another room because he insists on sitting in the sink. Fresh, clean water is always available to him in a bowl but that is just not as interesting to him as the sink and tub.
I wasn't lost, just turned around a bit. This is Fisher Lake near Snohomish, WA, USA. Looking back at the topo map that should have been in my pack, I am guessing it is Bald Eagle Peak. The shadows on the rock line up that way. We bushwhacked in on one route and scrambled out a different way. The important thing is that we made it to the truck in time to eat some dinner before the drive home.
CN L568 passes the 1907 St. Marys GTR station as they approach their first customer of the day, Shurgain on the south side of town (timetable west).
Normally this job is based out of Kitchener, but because of track work on the weekend Friday's L568 set off two zebra Geeps in order for the Saturday crew to start their day in Stratford. However, both units were seen facing east, which would have meant LHF for the entire west portion of their run. Nonetheless, I decided to go for it. GP9s are one of the few locomotives that are acceptable in LHF configuration in my book.
When I arrived in Stratford, however, I was pleasantly greeted by a recently wyed solo 4116 working the yard and building their train. What would have been acceptable was immediately upgraded to near perfect. But where was the other zebra GP38 they set off? After building their train, they made their shove move onto the main to depart Stratford for points west. But, they seemed to take a while to get their work authority.
After a few minutes of not seeing any progress, they pulled up to reveal they had grabbed the 2nd unit that was set off the previous day and tied back onto their train. What was near perfect was now the cream of the crop for Southern Ontario railfanning in 2025, and the sun chose to play ball as well, which was very nice.
The 1957-built 4116 is one of the oldest locomotives still active on any Class 1 in North America, and it's honestly insane that we are still able to see these first-generation diesel Canadian GMD GP9s in action on the mainline.
Train: CN L568 with CN 4116 (GP9rm) and CN 4716 (GP38-2).
