Il "Colosseo" illuminato dall'alba di un nuovo giorno che sta per nascere e senza turisti è qualcosa di spettacolare ed indescrivibile.
The " Colosseo " enlightened dawn of a new day about to be born and without tourists is something spectacular and indescribable .
This bay owes its name to the Vitaloca stream, which, like all dialectal adaptations, has transformed the name into Guidaloca.
It has a white pebble beach and looks like an arch on the coast; is characterized by crystal clear waters and shallow waters and make this bay a destination for all tourists in the summer.
Located in the territory of Castellammare del Golfo (Tp) not far from the stacks of Scopello and the splendid Oriented Nature Reserve of the Zingaro.

Questa baia deve il suo nome al torrente Vitaloca, che come tutti i riadattamenti dialettali ha trasformato il nome in Guidaloca.
Ha una spiaggia di sassi bianchi e si presenta come un arco sul litorale; è caratterizzato da acque cristalline e bassi fondali e fanno di questa baia una meta per tutti i turisti nel periodo estivo.
Situata nel territorio di Castellammare del Golfo (Tp) non lontano dai faraglioni di Scopello e dalla splendida Riserva Naturale Orientata dello Zingaro,
Camogli è uno splendido borgo che si affaccia sul golfo Paradiso, nella riviera ligure di Levante.
Un tipico paese marinaro caratterizzato da case alte e dipinte con colori vivaci che affascinano la vista. Un luogo romantico, immerso in una magnifica cornice naturale, che da secoli incanta i turisti di tutto il mondo in cerca di relax, cultura, mare e buona cucina.
Famosa per la Basilica Minore di Santa Maria Assunta, affacciata sul porticciolo.

Dislocato ai piedi di un promontorio roccioso, in provincia di Palermo, sorge uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia, Cefalù. È uno dei maggiori centri balneari di tutta la regione; nonostante le sue dimensioni, ogni anno attrae un rilevante flusso di turisti locali, nazionali ed esteri che, nel periodo estivo, arrivano a triplicare la popolazione, rendendo affollate le principali piazze e le strade più importanti del paese. Fa parte dei borghi più belli d'Italia ed è la porta d'ingresso per tutto il comprensorio delle Madonie e base di partenza anche per le isole Eolie. Il centro storico di Cefalù ha un impianto medievale caratterizzato da strade strette, pavimentate con i ciottoli della spiaggia e il calcare della Rocca di Cefalù.

La torre di Pisa è il campanile della cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta, nella celeberrima piazza del Duomo di cui è il monumento più famoso per via della caratteristica pendenza, simbolo della città e fra i simboli iconici d'Italia.
C'è una fontana settecentesca in bianco marmo di Carrara a Pisa, si trova su un lato della piazza dei Miracoli. La fontana vera e propria è costituita da un semplice basamento quadriforme ed è sormontata dal gruppo scultoreo che raffigura tre colossali putti che reggono le armi della primaziale e della città.
La maggior parte dei turisti si sofferma a vederla soprattutto perché dalla fontana sgorga acqua fresca potabile che disseta durante la visita della piazza.

The tower of Pisa is the bell tower of the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, in the famous Piazza del Duomo of which it is the most famous monument because of the characteristic slope, symbol of the city and among the iconic symbols of Italy.
There is an eighteenth-century fountain in white Carrara marble in Pisa, located on one side of the Piazza dei Miracoli. The actual fountain is constituted by a simple four-shaped base and is surmounted by the sculptural group that represents three colossal putti that support the weapons of the primatial and the city.
Most tourists stop to see it mainly because fresh drinking water flows from the fountain which quenches thirst during the visit of the square.

This is Galleria San Federico in Turin. The photo was taken early in the morning. Galleria San Federico is downtown in Turin and during the day is full of tourist and people. During the night several homeless find a shelter. With this photo I wanted to present the contrast between the luxury world present during the day and the other world often hopeless of the night.

Galleria San Federico a Torino appena prima dell'alba. La Galleria San Federico e' un'elegante struttura sede di negozi di lusso e di giorno e' piena di turisti. La sera e' un rifugio per persone senza un tetto. Questa immagine l'ho pensata per rappresentare il passaggio dalla notte al giorno e il contrasto tra i due mondi.

I turisti divertiti vi passeggiano, avventurandosi intorno a piedi scalzi, cercando conchiglie e possibili souvenir dimenticati dalle onde su questo grande tappeto, interrotto di tanto in tanto da pozze d'acqua salata ...

Victoria Street, nel centro storico di Edimburgo, è uno dei luoghi più fotografati della città. la sua curva dolce e le facciate colorate dei negozi la rendono meta preferita per turisti, cartoline e spot televisivi.
Victoria Street fu costruita tra il 1829-1834 come parte di una serie di miglioramenti al centro storico, con l'obiettivo di migliorare l'accesso alla città. Sul lato nord della strada, vi è una terrazza, sopra una serie di archi che si è successivamente riempita di negozi. Oggi la strada è un incantevole angolo del centro storico, ma ci sono ancora alcuni aspetti di un oscuro passato. Qui vi era la casa del maggiore Weir, un uomo noto come 'il Mago del West Bow', che fu giustiziato per stregoneria nel 1670. Si pensava che la sua casa fosse stata completamente demolita al tempo della costruzione di Victoria Street, ma ora sembra alcune parti siano sopravvissute, nascoste nel Quaker Meeting House sulla terrazza superiore. Un pensiero interessante i turisti in cerca dell'imprevisto.
Victoria Street in Edinburgh Old Town is one of the most photographed locations in the city. Its gentle curve and colourful shopfronts making it favourite spot for tourist photos, postcards and TV adverts.
Victoria Street was built between 1829-34 as part of a series of improvements to the Old Town, with the aim of improving access around the city. On the north side of the street a terrace was built, with a series of arches underneath which were later filled with shops. Today the street is a charming corner of the Old Town, but recent speculation suggests that a relic of its darker past may still exist. This was the location of Major Weir’s house, a man notorious as ‘the Wizard of the West Bow’, who was executed for witchcraft in 1670. It was thought that his house was completely demolished when Victoria Street was built, but it now seems that some parts may still exist, hidden in the Quaker Meeting House on the upper terrace. An intriguing thought for those visiting to shop, dine or looking for the unexpected.

Boccadasse è un borgo marinaresco di Genova. L'origine del nome è incerta, un’ipotesi è che il nome derivi dalla forma della baia, che ricorderebbe la bocca di un asino (In genovese Bocca d'Aze). Il borgo di Boccadasse attrae molti turisti. E’ racchiuso in una stretta baia, con il promontorio di Santa Chiara ed un castello (un nuovo edificio nello stile di un castello medievale) sul lato orientale, scogli su quello occidentale e in mezzo una spiaggia di ciottoli dove riposano le piccole imbarcazioni dei marinai.
Boccadasse is an old mariners' neighbourhood of the Italian city of Genoa. The origin of the name is uncertain, one hypothesis is that the name comes from the form of the bay on which Boccadasse lies, thus the name should be the shortening of the Genoese for donkey's mouth (bócca d'âze). The village of Boccadasse attracts many tourists. It is enclosed in a narrow bay, at the eastern side the cape of Santa Chiara with a castle (a new building in the style of a medieval castle), on the western side the rocks, and in the middle the tiny cobblestones beach where the seamen's small boats rest.

Alcuni giorni fa, con enorme piacere, son salito sul "Delfino Verde", una motobarca di 40 metri che trasporta turisti lungo tutto il golfo. Intendevo far conoscere ad amiche ed amici flickerini la bella costa giuliana. Questa prima immagine, presa da poppa, un primo scorcio di mare e costa in una giornata senza vento e con mare calmo

Transport in Venice is different from any other city, here tourists travel on gondolas, which proceed slowly between the canals.
It is a type of transport that still retains all the romanticism of the past.
I trasporti a Venezia sono diversi da qualsiasi altra città, qui i turisti si spostano su gondole, che procedono lentamente tra i canali.
È un tipo di trasporto che conserva ancora tutto il romanticismo del passato.
Cotlliure (oficialment en francès Collioure) és una vila de la comarca del Rosselló, a la Catalunya del Nord.
Antic poble de pescadors i vinyataires, conegut per les seves anxoves, Cotlliure ha estat també motiu d'inspiració per a pintors com Matisse, Derain, Chagall, Gris, Braque, Picasso, Dufy i Dalí, entre d'altres, que han retratat el seu castell, els seus carrerons o el pintoresc campanar de la seva església arran de mar.
Curiositat: "A Cotlliure (hi) fa bon viure, i a Argelers, si tens diners".

Plitvice Lakes National Park is a special geological and hydrogeological karst phenomenon. The Plitvice Lakes complex was declared a national park on April 8, 1949. It is the largest, oldest and most visited Croatian national park.

Time, tempo 40 years anni . difference differenze.
Anche oggi ho messo due epoche a confronto, gli spazi che prima erano dominio assoluto dei pescatori ora sono occupati da tavoli ed ombrelloni, ho chiesto a un vecchio pescatore che ne pensava , mi ha rispoto "non ne parliamo !" la sua faccia diceva tutto.

Lo scoiattolo grigio è stato introdotto in Gran Bretagna poco più di un secolo fa, nel tardo 19° secolo dall’America. Adatto per il clima e l'habitat, si è diffuso enormemente. Sono amati dai turisti, ma possono rappresentare anche un problema per la loro passione per masticare l'isolamento dei fili elettrici fatto che insieme ad altri li ha fatti finire sulla lista di controllo dei parassiti. Inutile dire che non tutti I londonesi li amano. Non è difficile infatti trovare carne di scoiattolo se si desidera provare un tipo di carne originale. C'era inoltre la storia degli scoiattoli impazziti per il crack a Brixton, dopo che gli spacciatori avevano iniziato a sotterrare la droga nei giardini. Un residente ha detto: "Ho visto uno scoiattolo che scavava nelle aiuole. "Sembrava malato, con gli occhi iniettati di sangue e continuava a scavare disperatamente. Mi sembra una cosa strana da dire, ma sembrava sapere che cosa stava cercando. ". Quindi non solo storie a lieto fine e noccioline per gli scoiattoli di Londra!
The grey squirrel was introduced into Britain little over a century ago in the late 19th century from America. Suited to the climate and habitat, it has become widespread. Tourists love them but they can be a problem also for their fondness for chewing off the insulation from electrical wires that has landed them on the pest control list. Needless to say, not every Londoner loves them. In fact you can find squirrel meat easily in London if you want to taste something new. There was also a big story about squirrels going nuts on crack cocaine in Brixton, after dealers started hiding their stash in the ground in response to a police effort to curb drug use. One resident said: “I’d seen a squirrel digging in the flower-beds. “It was ill-looking and its eyes looked bloodshot, but it kept on desperately digging. It seems a strange thing to say, but it seemed to know what it was looking for.” So, not only happy endings and peanuts for the squirrels in London!
