I returned to Wright-Locke Farm later today to help with Family Farm Night, and snapped this photo of Turbo afterward.
I combined the front and back of a large postcard to create this image. The document has been in my collection for decades. I got it as a kid, I think at the New York State Fair around 1976 when they had an Amtrak Rohr Turboliner on display and this was the most relevant propaganda they had to hand out. Kind of a cool footnote to history, following the VIA photo I posted yesterday.

GA 170202 three car set working the 0525 Lowestoft to Harwich International and one of the few passenger services using the spur from Manningtree North Junction to East Junction.This unit then forms the 0750 service to Cambridge.The descendant of the old Harwich to Manchester boat train. These units will be some of the first displaced by the new 755 sets on the Ipswich and Norwich Cambridge services.

Now found only in Tasmania, this flightless rail "Tasmanian Nativehen" (Tribonyx [or Gallinula] mortierii ) is a notoriously fast runner (up to 50km/hr). Commonly observed during my Tassy trip, and apparently hard to distinguish males from females. This specimen spotted at a park in Geeveston.

A small hummingbird hawk-moth tastes the geraniums.
It comes almost every morning, so I've only had to wait and try to catch it.
Went to a rat rod show with a friend recently. and this is another one of the shots. Small block powered, twin turbo powered small block ford pickup.
Night, zero moonlight, 120 second exposure, a few semi-distant sodium vapor lights, protomachines flashlight set to orange, green, purple and a little white.
