We found this varied little stand over behind the concession tents. It was one of the few unlabeled groups of tulips in the entire park. After so many sorted and sculpted displays, I found the casual mixed chaos of these few to be refreshing. I am even considering them as the subject of a painting, for which I took some other reference photos...Could be interesting :)

These are the tulips our new minister and his wife brought to us when we had them over for dinner earlier this week.

One of the COOLEST features of my new camera is the wireless flash function. The flash was on the counter, underneath the flowers, and the on camera flash was dialed down in power. Loving this 7D!

Spent a day at the tulip festival near Woodburn, Oregon. Was a bit cloudy but I was still able to get quite a few nice shots. I was just blown away by how many different colors there were...

Tulipes et la Morges

These lovely tulips were given to us recently by our friends, Jeremy and Dina. They add a lovely splash of colour and a reminder that spring is not too far away, despite the freezing weather!!
