For "Crazy Tuesday" - theme : "In The Middle".

For "Crazy Tuesday" theme of "Symmetry"

This isn't quite symmetrical but fairly close!

A bit of history to all the glass, but the large flask I found in builder's rubbish from a house clearance. Too good to be completely discarded, I just had to have it and only a mile to walk with it back home1

Bottles and flask, placed on a mirror, backlit from an illuminated panel, and side lit to get colour into the glass.

With this as a basic arrangement, I took photographs using three different makes of lens leaving the camera on its tripod in the same position. Then compared the results. A CCTV lens provided a much colder picture but one that with cropping to remove the vignetting had a very certain charm and character. Much warmer pictures were produced by both the Pentax Auto 110 and the Jupiter 8 lens, indeed I can't tell any significant difference.

An interesting evening and trials that need to be repeated in different circumstances. Incidentally, all three lenses were inexpensive and eBay buys!
