I had one of these stacie dolls already and the other one was given to me by my sister with these cute Frozen toys.

A most unusual looking Estate Car fashioned into the shape of a dog isn't the type of model I hanker after normally but it does raise a tiny bit of enthusiasm on account of it being a blatant copy of the Tomica produced Disney Tsum Tsum model. Made by a company called T.NA its quality is decent enough with a metal body and robust features. Part of a six vehicle set sent in error from an AliExpress seller. Mint and boxed.
Well, it's the most current photo I have of our tsums. Missing from the photo is Sleepy the Dwarf, which I got from the Disney Movie Rewards "mystery tsum" reward.
This looks like a lot of tsums, but really, they are an amalgamation of three separate, smaller collections--mine, my daughter's, and my son's.

This was the last time I stepped foot in a ToysRUs store, June 23, 2018 - 6 days before the final closing.
When I first moved to LA back in 2007, I had just started getting into toy collecting, first with the Blythe dolls, then Lego, then Marvel Universe, Marvel Select, Marvel Legends, Star Wars Vintage Collection, Disney Vinylmation, Disney TsumTsum, etc. I have met and made many friends through this hobby - many of whom I no longer talk to anymore for various reasons.
I miss those times - of hanging out in Little Tokyo for doll meets, going to TRU every Wednesday and Friday morning to be the first to check out the new releases, going on late night TRU runs with friends, going to Frank and Sons on Saturday afternoons after having dim sum with my family, going to San Diego Comic Con and lining up for tickets to the Hasbro booth, waiting in line at Lego Store grand openings.
Toy collecting, along with my other hobbies like comic books and video games was many things for me - it was an escape from the Real World back to childhood, it was an outlet for my OCD (acquiring a hard-to-find action figure in order to complete a set), and it was a way to connect to other people.
Sadly, over the last 3 years or so I have lost interest in all of my hobbies. I haven't paid attention to Blythe in 7 years, haven't been to a SDCC since 2015, my dad passed away in 2014 and we don't go for dim sum in Rowland Heights anymore so I don't go to Frank and Sons anymore. I haven't liked any of the recent Star Wars movies, so I have been slowly trying to sell off my Star Wars collection. And I sell more Lego than I buy nowadays.
I don't think I will ever capture those feelings again, but I will always have the memories.
Seems like the theme of the Christmas Tree this year is Tsum Tsum. I guess the obsession is pretty bad when you have enough of these addicting little plushies to decorate a tree with. For the record, my daughter and son own most of these "ornaments". I think only about 8 of those are actually mine.
