I saw a really cool 52 week photography project and thought I would give it a go. Week 1 is 'Who am I?' In this photo are a few of my favourite things which sum me up. First we have my knitting needles and yarn, this is a fairly new hobby that I have picked back up. Secondly, we have my Nintendo DS with my all time favourite game, Animal Crossing, and lastly we have my Tsum Tsums, these are little Disney teddies in all different characters, I don't wish to count how many of these I have collected... This sums me up, old at heart yet also in touch with my young side.

YAY for glow in the dark nail polish, finally getting the hang of it!

A few weeks ago I posted a picture of my glow in the dark nail polish on tumblr and said I didn't have ideas for a design... a friend suggested spoopy ghosts, finally did those spoopy ghosts :D

Spent the day out shopping or playing tsumtsum. In between watching youtube and whose line. Also painted my nails if you can't tell :D

10:10 am. As I was leaving my local Disney Store, I took some photos of the merchandise displays. Here are the 2015 Classic Flynn and Rapunzel dolls inside a bell jar.

I went to my local Disney Store to pre-order Belle, Beast and Gaston this morning. I lined up outside the store at 6:30 am. There was one person in front of me, that came here to get the Beauty and the Beast tsums that were also being released today. Later on she decided to get the dolls as well (all three of them), after hearing people talking about them in the line. Another budding doll collector, I hope, and not a reseller. There were 7 people by 7 am, 15 by 8 am and about 20 at 9 am.

The staff turned on the store lights at 9 am, and I could see a small promo placard behind the counter. But there were no LE dolls on display as there usually are for a pre-order. I was very disappointed that I couldn't see the dolls up close, not even Belle. They handed out line cards at about 9:30, and I got #2 card for all three dolls. There were 15 Belle, about 10 Beast and 6 Gaston. Some people who wanted Gaston missed out. There was one Belle left when the store opened at 10 am. I got all the BatB tsums, including the medium Belle and the large Beast.

Anxious to see a display Belle doll, I went over to another local Disney Store about a half hour away. They had no display dolls, only the promo placard. But they did have one Belle pre-order still available, so I took that doll, so I didn't have to chance getting my spare Belle online tonight. They had two styles of Art of Belle mugs. I bought the one with the collage artwork on it.

I got all nine of the Cinderella Tsum Tsum mini plush on February 4, 2015. That is the day after they were released online and in store. I also have all the Snow White Tsum Tsum that were released last year. I intend to collect all of the Disney Princess ones released by the US Disney Store, but none of the others. What's nice about them is that they are colorful, small, soft, tough, cute, stackable and relatively cheap.

The Easter bunny was good to me this year lol :B

Frozen LE and Designer dolls stacked up behind the registers. View from outside the store.

Got to my local Disney Store at 6:00 am and got inside right away. I was first in line. I fellow collector joined me a couple of minutes later. There were six waiting in line at 7 am, 25 at 8 am, 40 at 9 am, probably 50 at 10 am.

The store had 16 each of Limited Edition Frozen Fever Anna and Elsa 17'' dolls, and 18 of the DFDC Anna and Kristoff 12'' doll set. They told us the totals of the limited edition dolls when they gave out the line cards at about 9:40 am. There were two Anna/Kristoff sets left over at store opening at 10 am. It was also release day for the 10 Peter Pan mini tsum tsums, and the FF mini tsum tsum set (in an Olaf carrying case). It turned out that about 2 thirds of the people just wanted the tsum tsums. After the opening ceremony, we were divided into two lines. One was just for tsums. and the other was for the LE or Designer dolls (we could also get tsums). They had the Peter Pan tsums behind the counter, but the FF tsums were on the wall display to the right of the registers. I got the three dolls, all the Peter Pan tsums, and the FF tsum set.

I wanted to incorporate BB-8 into a photo, and wow, did I accidentally make this really sad, haha. Poor Olaf in the background. "Anna doesn't wanna play with me anymore. :("

May this year be happy and fruitful!

The Sadness Tsum Tsum Mini Plush. She was made and sold by the Disney Store, but is currently sold out online and in most stores. She is still available at the Disneyland Resort, Anaheim. I bought her at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney. She is $5.95, or 3 for $15, and is about 3 1/2 inches long.

Disneyland visit on Sunday May 17, 2015. It was partly cloudy, in the low 70s. It was very crowded. There was a filming today of a TV show in the Main Street plaza, in front of the Disneyland Railroad Station, with some guests in the audience. There were more decorations throughout the Park for the 60th Anniversary. The celebrations formally begin on Friday May 22.

I got several newly released Disney Parks merchandise. I got small Ariel and Rapunzel figures in World of Disney ($49.95 each). I got the Tomorrowland OE Pin ($8.95 each) that has been missing from DLR for a month. I only saw it in LGM Store Command, and they only had a few of them on the What's New racks. I also got the Cinderella pumpkin coach popcorn buckets ($15.50 each) at the end of the Main Street. There was a line waiting for it at the popcorn stand in front of the Castle, but I only had to wait about 10 minutes. The Emporium had reversible Ariel/Aurora dolls, and the new style Fashionista Princess bags, scarfs and wallets back for sale.
