I saw the most amazing rainbow on Friday...Didn't have the best view cos I was stuck at work at the time but that didn't stop me from running outside like a mad woman to get the shot!!...Bahaha....oh and btw this shot doesn't give the rainbow justice!! Just say'n!! ;)

  

Well, I had to try to get some shots of the super moon tonight since last night didn't work out as planned. (The moon rose behind a foggy haze over the ocean so I couldn't see it at the horizon when it looks the biggest.) Tonight I got to a new location about 15 minutes from home, and set up my camera 5 minutes early, then to my HUGE disappointment discovered I had swapped a low battery for another one and didn't check it. So I had a DEAD battery in my camera! :-( And then the moon came up big and glorious and golden orange. I phone my husband to tell him what happened and how gorgeous the moon was, and he offered to bring me the other battery which was on the charger. I said no, it would likely be too late when he arrived, so I just watched and enjoyed the scene. There were a couple of other photographers there and I asked each of them if they had a spare battery..no luck...Just as I was getting in my car to leave, my husband arrived with the other battery. What a darling!! So I got a few shots, but not the ones I planned. And then I enjoyed the view of the city lights reflecting on the water and got a few shots of the distant MacDonald bridge. The shot below of the moon rising is a composite of what I saw but didn't capture..photoshop helps me keep the memory. I decided I could go back tomorrow evening but it sounds like we may have rain and clouds.

...trying to soak up every little bit of sun while we can.
