"Some people are still unaware that reality contains unparalleled beauties. The fantastic and unexpected, the ever-changing and renewing is nowhere so exemplified as in real life itself." - Berenice Abbott

Sorry to all my Flickr friends, fall a very busy time on the farm. I get back on here more when things slow back down.

Ominous storm clouds?

Check.

Thunder and lightning?

Check.

A hydro-electric dam releasing water?

Check.

Crazy currents and whirlpools?

You bet.

Let's go fishing!

On the way to the office

This wreck at Jurby Head, Isle of Man, is the wreck of the steam trawler Passages, of Fleetwood. She ran aground in a gale on 3 December 1931. The wreck was bought by a local farmer to act as a sea defence which is why she still remains on shore and was not salvaged fully. It is only exposed at low tide.

as seen on Mission Street this morning. I picked up some of the big pieces.

Taken with Bracket Mode then put through TrueHDR. Edited with Snapseed. Rays add with Rays app and a bit of sun added with Lenslight.

There is a garage that repairs school buses behind my office. Yesterday, a large tow truck pulled into the parking lot, pulling a burned out school bus. Crazy!

iPhone picture taken from my pushbike.

Apps used. Firstly 2 images taken at different exposures and combined in TrueHDR. Then worked in PhotoForge2 to trim the image into a square format and adjust curves. Uploaded directly from the phone.....

Gotta love Mother Nature.. Sunset this evening before leaving work..

iPhone shot.. from my Instagram account, taken using the TrueHDR App

Day 239 of 365 ... snapped this photo for the Nine Group with my iPhone and later saw the Gecko on the right side. I'll have to go back and check it out but suspect he/she is permanently entombed under the green paint

I took two consecutive photos using the Geometry Lens app, then ran them through TrueHDR. With final processing in Camera+.

Shot on iPhone 4S using TrueHDR app, Camera+ and Snapseed.

Daily App Experiment #296 "On the catwalk" - two quick pics of @rrmutt's kitty that I cropped/tweaked in Camera+, then merged together using #interlacer. Then took the Interlacer image and one of the original photos and ran them both through #truehdr, getting the above result. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment

Daily App Experiment #201: "Raise y'r skinny fists..." - Sutro tower and the sunset as captured with #TrueHDR the processed in Camera+. I then ran the overly processed image though #PicSmoother... Then back through picSmoother... And one more time for luck. Anyone have any good suggestions for pixel smoothing apps other than PicSmoother. #appsperiment #Daily_Appsperiment

Daily App Experiment #291 "Let's be distant together" - I really like shooting multiple shots at the same location then using and HDR app to stitch them together. Today, I took two shots using the same #hipstamatic lenses and then used #trueHDR to try to merge the two together, with final clean up in Camera+. I always dig the variable thieving effect this process creates. Tomorrow I may try the same technique, but with different lens combos. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment #ghostinthemachine

I went down to the harbour this evening and had to walk in knee-deep snow to get this photo. I think it was worth it though!?

Photo taken with TrueHDR on my iPhone 3gs and edited using CameraBag, Tilt Shift Gen & Filterstorm apps.
