While not the most powerful storm we saw, the fact that we watched this storm form almost directly overhead right at sunset was pretty amazing.

Car Trouble by Adam and the Ants

York station reflected in the bonnets of some spectacularly expensive cars and SUV. This part of the car park is what was once the 'Motorail' bay, used for loading cars for transport by rail whilst the owners travelled on the same train. The platform survives but alas not the track. 20th December 2016
Living in York has meant that I can get by without a car, though I do regret never learning how to drive!

Work was under way at the stern of the Ros Crana, apparently for some kind of fowling around the prop or rudder, as the vessel was moored on the Caledonian Canal at Fort Augustus locks.
With up to twelve guests aboard the converted barge Ros Crana makes a week-long journey along the Great Glen, traversing the Highlands of Scotland from coast to coast, between Fort William and Inverness.
The Caledonian Canal connects the Scottish east coast at Inverness with the west coast at Corpach near Fort William in Scotland. The canal was constructed in the early nineteenth century by Scottish engineer Thomas Telford, and is a sister canal of the Göta Canal in Sweden, also constructed by Telford.

After getting the pond shot we were hoping for with okay light the VW providing the trips transportation battery died on the side of the Trans Canada. After a quick jump from a friendly fellow Ontario resident we were on our way again until stopping in Noranda QC to see the ONR car shops. The super friendly employees of ONR helping us get and install a fresh new car battery.

Life’s busy in the prairie dog towns of Custer State Park — squeaks, scurries, and endless charm from these tiny sentinels of the prairie.
During a stop at Summerville, GA on a Lerro Productions photo charter, our actors put on a little surprise show for us while 4501 posed at the station.
Some girls are born trouble.
This was a random image in a series I did with a country road and old iron bridge in the background. I love the attitude she's showing and felt the image was too good to just file away.
