From an old negative I had thrown in a drawer that needed a lot of repair. I find hours of cloning scratches and dust spots oddly satisfying. Date & location unknown
Trixie likes to assist me with various household chores. She especially likes to help with folding laundry that's still warm from the dryer.

This photo is so close to my heart. It was Tuesday, 4th March 2025, when I wanted to go out for an extended photo tour through Munich and its special carnival tradition called "Kehraus". My plan was to start at the famous Viktualienmarkt followed by some indoor happenings until midnight. The Leica III and some films were packed when I received a worrying call which took a long time and destroyed my good mood for that day. But at 9p.m. I decided to take at least some last moments. I decided for the Zeiss Sonnar 5cm which ist very milky but able to draw light in a very special way. My plan was to go to Marienplatz and wait for people coming out of the City Hall after the big evening of celebration that day. Most of the photo suffered from overexposure or deeply unsharp appearance. But there were 2 (of 2 films) which I liked very much. They are intimate, quiet but also a bit lively. Showing some light, details in a concrete, but smooth way, tenderly. The Sonnar can be a wizard, and film is so good when circumstances come together in the way I like. Probably my way of looking around me is in a tunnel these days. Looking out and seeing some light, life and poetry is an aim. This photo has everything I dream of.
