Nicki was asked by one of her professors, and a friend of mine from my Writing Center days, to go to trivia at Uncle Maddio's. We played as a new team, instead of my regular team name. However, I still brought ducks for the table.

They were doing phone-in trivia on the afternoon that we left Key West. Since we were stuck in our stateroom due to the rough waters, we watched. It was funny. That's Skip, our cruise director, on the right and the lovely Sam on the left.

Another team activity was a "world trivia" contest, since the official picnic them was "World of Compliance". As an incentive for attending the picnic and participating in the activities, we raffled off a groups of prizes, including an iPod nano. Teams that won each activity would get additional raffle tickets good towards the prize drawings.

The Trivia Bee is the primary fundraiser for the Benicia Public Library. Dinner, a silent auction and a trivia competition fill the night.

The University of Saint Mary's Lawrence D. Starr Global Studies Institute (GSI) hosted its annual Quiz Bash on Sept. 23, 2014.

Teams of students. faculty and staff gathered in Mabee Auditorium for food, competition, and prizes.
