Teams gathered in Reid Memorial Library today to compete in the Challenged Book Trivia contest held in honor of Banned Books Week. The three-round competition gave students the opportunity to win books, DVDs and other prizes. This event was facilitated by L&C's Diversity Council.

Last day of NY Comic-Con, our neighbors in the Prima Games booth held a trivia contest to give away some game guides.

The ship hosted a Pub Trivia contest every day. Glenn, Mary and I won one earlier in the cruise after a tie-breaker, and received Holland America Lapel Pins as a prize. This time, we teamed up with two of the women from our dinner table and won the final contest of the cruse. Our prize was a bottle of champaign.
Oh yes, that's right. We did. I got a little drunk and lipstick-happy this week, however. No matter. Next week is going to be a little nerve-wracking because Victoria has told us that she MUST watch Lost and she does not have a DVR. Keith and I are trying to think of contingency plans for this. Also, Patrick neglected to show up, because, I don't know, he has a life or something. He is welcome back next week, though.
This was the first week we had extreme competition, in the form of "Team-Stands-By-The-Bar." Those people were GOOD, yo. However, in a stunning come from behind victory, we wagered all the points we could on the third round and won. Again. What in the world are we going to do with all of these gift certificates? It's hard being Team The Electric Space Jesuses Part 2 sometimes. It really is.
