Ten teams participate in the Trivia Night hosted by Vicenza Community Club at the Golden Lion Oct. 23.
The “Furlough This” team won after competing in several categories including current events and scary movies. “The Heisenberg’s” won as the best-dressed team.
Participants also enjoyed a raffle, prizes and snacks. The event helped raise $300 for community programs.

Our first ever Trivia Night was a huge success, and we'd like to take a moment to thank the teams, staff, volunteers, and everyone else that was a part of such a great event.

Meredith in her new trivia outfit (standing near the Utopia money tree) -- there is something Alice in Wonderlandish about this that I really like. I dig the skinned knee on the tights. But my favorite part of this nerdy outfit are the pencils in the hair -- brilliance. Meredith will now be all nerded out for when she kicks ass at the Jiminy trivia camping spot (woo!).

Shea Robinson of Central Library's Fiction Department who hosted the event was a recent recipient of the Library Board of Trustees Innovative and Cool Award, which funds staff ideas that provide unique programs for the public.
