Taken with a Holga toy camera - a completely unintentional triple exposure. I think that two of the shots are of the train bridge in Saskatoon - one in portrait format, and one in landscape format. These were taken in spring 2010. The final exposure appears to be of trees at the experimental farm in Ottawa. This would have been taken in winter 2010. For some reason, this is one of my favorite shots from my first Holga roll.

Almost gave up in the parking lot. The light had been beautiful, but it was fading. Sadly I had brought two unbelievably dumb dogs who, unaccustomed to leashes, went berserk when we tried to cross the road to the trail. By the time I had locked them back in the car, the sweet light was gone.

I made these chocolate loaded cookies the other day after being inspired by David Lebovitz. Here's where you can read more about my experience making cookies from scratch for the first time: onelifetoeat.com/2011/04/06/baking-triple-chocolate-cooki...
After some encouragement from Mark Doxey, I gave Velvia another try with Terminator 3 Following Mark's suggestions for exposure, I did much better with this second roll. I think it also helped that T3 has a longer focal length and thus the vignetting is a bit less. I may continue to put up with Velvia. Those color sure are pretty.
Again, I'm not sure about the extra-wide angle being well-suited to forest shots. Feedback and opinions are welcome.
We who live in the Dallas are so used to seeing this shot ....it is nice to see it used for something fun.
