TRICK LORD was half painted for a few months and in its early stages had no signs that it would evolve into such a demonic painting.
I enjoyed painting this piece on a smaller recycled canvas and created it with acrylics, oil and metallic.
I went to work on Trick Lord today January 1st 2010 I just wanted to get this peculiar little canvas finished.
This painting took about 2 hours to finish today and after I hung this piece on the wall I could see quickly who and what was within this tiny work.
If you look closely you will see the Trick Lord Himself “The Devil” and in his left hand he is bouncing the Apple the forbidden fruit, he is surrounded by the urban scape of the inner city ghetto looking to entice hungry souls, before him is the window of perception wedged between the brick and mortar, behind him a snake of prison stripes its head is tipped in Amber light WARNING all to take caution and to stay clear of the Trick Lord. Attached to his waist engulfing the TRICK LORD you see the Evil eye of Horus doubling as the vagina of the Anti-Christ and with his left foot he is kicking the New Years ball into the gutter.
So as you can see for an uncontrived painting there is quite a bit of stuff within this tiny canvas.
I will have to spend the next few days looking at TRICK LORD to see what else may appear within the brush strokes.
