Taken during summer when there wasn't a gushing amount of water, rather more of a trickle at one of my favourite waterfalls.

"Wolf Creek Falls Sunset:" Last summer, I hiked down to Wolf Creek Falls, and an isolated thunderstorm arrived as I was waiting for sunset. The rain was refreshing, and when it started to clear, the colors in the mammatus clouds overhead began to light up. I went again recently thinking all of the monsoon rains we have been having would have it flowing again, but alas, it was barely a trickle.

Time to change it up for a bit. Do you see the hidden auto in this scene? Just kidding.

Returning from a hospital appointment and after a few days of rain, I decided to check out some waterfalls. The falls at Scaling are fed by overflow from a reservoir and I was disappointed to find only a trickle when I arrived. So I tried to maximise the flow with an ND filter and long exposure, the draw back being movement in the trees!

Large rock on Terrace Beach, Eden, NSW. Far South Coast. An up and down, bumpy bush track through to here. No-one here today but popular in summer. An unstable bluff follows atop the beach and has crumbly rock in places. Small boulders near the base of the beach steps, some covered in sand with a trickling stream partly submerged. Parents should take care with children playing in the large, sometimes high sand banks as this was the scene of a tragedy some years ago. Ben Boyd National Park.

Waterfall or water trickle. The waterfalls are reduced in some areas to water trickles or no flows at all. Drought conditions Australia

Down on the ground in that ruin in Hamburg, N.J. From what I can glean online, it was a paper mill dating to the 1870s.

Vestiges of the old hydropower system send water coursing through the ruins, particularly during the spring thaw.

Little waterfall in Stocking Creek, Saltair, Vancouver Island

These water falls are usually not much more than a trickle, but they really come to life after heavy down pour.

Clearly the storm that traversed NSW on the week did the job and a nice post storm sunrise did the rest...

I had first set eyes on these falls just after winter as summer was starting to melt the snow. This time was a lot different, the end of summer. The place was almost unrecognizable. There were plenty of new rocks to climb on and around but the water falls were a little lack luster due to the scorching summer we've had. I found this little reflection and it drew enough attention for me to actually process the photo. I made it out of one exposure, they way I like!

Chevron Gas Station located at Alcosta Blvd. & San Ramon Rd. in San Ramon,CA.

This fine little mess occurred just 10 minutes prior to my arrival at the intersection. Once I arrived the gasoline was only trickling out of the truck after gushing more than 1000 gallons down the nearby storm drain. About five minutes after taking these photos I noticed that the gasoline had stopped leaking though plenty of damage had already been caused. Both the driver of the truck and the civic were walking around the scene although the two were kept seperated by the police for safety precautions. After close review and hearing a story by one witness across the street at the Shell Gas Station it seems like the driver of the car is likely at fault.

Restoration work has begun on two 100-year-old concrete basins on the far northeastern side of Postal Pond. This basin was once a swimming hole for local children.

▶ A cast-iron pipe (recently retrofitted with a PVC end-drain) runs underground to here twenty yards south from another basin (which was once used for watering cows). The second drain runs from a close-by, long-buried spring-fed well.
