Glenn Coaches of York Setra Tri-Axle GIW 8497 comes over the bridge at Pateley bridge on an afternoon excursion from York.
New to Citybus, Hong Kong as their 162, this tri-axle Leyland Olympian had worked for Stagecoach on Megabus and South West Trains rail replacement work before settling in Cheshire with Howards Travel.
It is seen in the yard at their Cheshire base in October 2011.
Fleet number 1119 has just turned from South Charlotte Street on to Charlotte Square as it makes its way between Lothian Road and Queensferry Street at Edinburgh’s West End. The bus is working the 47 from Penicuik Ladywood to Cammo via Straiton P&R, Kaimes, Cameron Toll, Newington, Lauriston Place, Tollcross, Blackhall, Davidson’s Mains, Cramond and Barnton. The fairly new terminus at Cammo was served by route 41 but from 28 May 2023, the 41 has been cancelled and replaced in north west Edinburgh by diverting the 47 from Granton Harbour to Cammo.

1101 was new to Lothian Buses in 2019 as 1101.
She is seen here at Shandwick Place.
An uncommon allocation to say the least, 1101 on the 44. This is because the peak 17:12 run on the Service 9 from King's Buildings to Hanover Street then goes onto a Service 44.
This run doesn't really have an allocation and is just Central deckers available for peak runs though these Enviro400 XLB buses do tend to get used on the service.
Fleet number 1121 was seen travelling south on Bruntsfield Place as it works an 11 from Ocean Terminal to Hyvots Bank. The bus is passing the popular open space of Bruntsfield Links on the right. The 250 ft/76 metre high steeple of Barclay Viewforth Church soars above the tenements of Barclay Terrace while parts of Edinburgh Castle are visible in the far distance on the left side of the picture.

For the duration of the Christmas Market (15 Nov 2025-04 Jan 2026), the Airlink city terminus has been temporarily relocated to the east end of George Street. Waiting outside The New Town Church on the afternoon of 15 November were Enviro 400XLBs 1133 and 1137. Both were new in August 2019

Flagfinders Leyland Olympian Tri-AXLE H493 LNA still sees use and was booked out on a special on Wednesday. Scania Omnidekka East Lancs YN56 FDX was booked to run empty to work the 223 Service from Sible Hedingham School to Braintree.This is one of only two services run by the company that are also a scheduled service open to the public
Another triaxle conversion, this one from two OOC Panthers to create Park's of Hamilton SW09 UMC in Nat Ex livery. Just needs the number plate changing to the lose the Euro GB bit.

BU69 XYA. The last thing you would expect to see in Northampton are these Cambridge triaxles. These 100 seat buses are ideal for this sort of work. Three were noted working the Silverstone park and ride. A delivery robot waits patiently for 13902 to depart...July 16 2021.
Rail Replacement work 25 March 2017. Morton's Travel had built up a fleet of ten 100+ seater double-decks before takeover by Luckett's (and subsequently by National Express). While useful for short-distance journeys, the spacing of the seats means that they are quite unsuitable for long distance jobs, such as this Basingstoke to Woking journey. The bus is a 2009 tri-axle Volvo B9TL with East Lancs Olympus body, originally PO59KGF but reregistered for Mortons 10th anniversary.
