Oops...I inadvertently broke the law to get this shot. :))
While walking the back fields, I wandered into this no trespassing area of this old abandoned farm. There were "No Trespassing" signs all along the fence and on the barn that I didn't even notice. Too focused on the shot, I guess.
Thanks for viewing!
this Lioness knows that her small group of mainly young lions has entered the territory of another pride ( the 18 member strong River Pride ). While the others were lying in the shade of some small trees she is standing on a small termite mound and is pondering her next move.
First lion sighting of the trip a few minutes after leaving the airstrip of Mara North Conservancy, Kenya

Full disclosure--I admit to being a rural Paparazzi, routinely ignoring "no trespassing" signs and probably breaking a few laws along the way. But really, what's the harm, especially when autumn comes calling.
Happy Fence Friday everyone.

Once upon a time……there was life that has now moved on. The trees and flowers have offered to protect the memories and keep the stories tucked inside where there is “ no trespassing”.
Happy Halloween

On a very recent misty foggy day, I was temped to hike up the inviting path to explore over the hill. Then I noticed the sign on the left . . . "Keep Out!"
Well, I don't usually trespass onto someone's property without permission, so I just enjoyed the various frosty colors from the entrance!
I'll be on & off as we get closer to the Holidays . . . busy, busy, busy! :)

I drove around today and the lakes and ponds are still thawing very slowly. I didn't have my camera with me. Next week we will have spring temperatures and I hope to start seeing the colorful flowers of this season. The irony of the sign...nobody cares and they enjoy the lake no matter the danger.
On/Off - Thank you very much for your visit and for taking the time to comment! Much appreciated!
Tonight I thought I'd have a faff in PS. Feeling lazy I just shot the silhouette part this evening and overlaid an in camera double from beneath Fountains Abbey and an archway from within the Abbey itself which was from last years 365.
This is 175 of my 366.
The best barn on one of my favorite abandoned farms.
My first visit to this property was in 2016 or 2017. The owners only brought out the main door to the barn in 2019.
The property contains many "private property" and "no trespassing" signs, so I have only shot from the public road that essentially goes through the farm. If the owners were ever around and granted permission, I certainly would like to look in the barn and house.
Do not trespass passed this sign on the Station Platform!!!

in truth i did not trespass to shoot this..
in sonoma co. california there is a road called coleman valley, and one morning it looked just like this from where i was contemplating the action of trespassing in order to get a better perspective. but when i got home to view that mornings photos this was the better perspective of the day....
Unlike the shed I just posted, which was a 1 on a scale from 1 to 10. This shed is about a 3. It is missing the right side, some of the roof and an awning on the left. I assume one can trespass here because it is not posted otherwise. It could possibly be repaired with some money and hard work, but why? That’s a 3 ... maybe could be fixed, but better to just knock it down and start over.
I am sure there are snakes, raccoons, and other unsavory wildlife making their homes here. I do think the yellow door was attractive at one time.

Not really much to say for this rotting sign. I just like it. Up in the hills above Palo Alto, California looking out toward the ocean.
Finally a “No Trespassing” sign that makes sense. This is a power substation in Richmond County, Virginia. A lot of interesting stuff here, huh?
Happy Telegraph Tuesday!
I photographed this endangered, three-unit apartment building in Danville, Illinois about six years ago. Located a short walk from the business district, this century-old building, posted with "no trespassing" signs, must have at one time been a desirable place to live. More recent images I've seen, taken in the Fall of 2015, show how the building has continued to deteriorate, with most of the windows and doors now boarded. The outlook is bleak for this at risk old-timer.
