"Ah! like gold fall the leaves in the wind,
long years numberless as the wings of trees!
The years have passed like swift draughts
of the sweet mead in lofty halls
beyond the West, beneath the blue vaults of Varda,
wherein the stars tremble in the song
of her voice, holy and queenly.
Who now shall refill the cup for me?
For now the Kindler, Varda, the Queen of the Stars,
From Mount Everwhite has uplifted her hands like clouds,
and all paths are drowned deep in shadow;
and out of a grey country darkness lies
on the foaming waves between us, and mist
covers the jewels of Calacirya for ever.
Now lost, lost to those from the East is Valimar!
Farewell! Farewell! Maybe thou shalt find Valimar.
Maybe even thou shalt find it. Farewell!"
""The wind is blowing………the little drop is trembling, it is a bit scared it might fall…..the wind blew once more and indeed the next moment the drop fell…""

Baby, don't cry now. you ask me just like always
That time we found a pure white memory, the commotion
Baby, hold me now, I'm trembling
So we don't break this memory, shyer than yesterday
The rain has lifted, only the path
With light drying it, swaying quietly remains
Wow...
How many times have our kisses piled up, as fragile as glass
A love that can't sleep has nowhere to go, lost in heaven
In a straight line, we go into the evening
Make a shadow, stretching out, crying a little
If this warm miracle blows through my chest
The flow of time and flow of water will stop
The person I love will have a trembling memory
And keep going forever into a dream
Let's make a promise, never to forget it
Baby, classic blue tears are overflowing
If this warm miracle blows through my chest
Just like this here, gently the two of us
To my lover the trembling memory is still alive
If the wind still blows strong in this town
It will beautifully paint those painful days the color of sky
The person I love will have a trembling thought
And keep going forever into a dream

Hey hey, just one more and I'll walk away
All the everything you win turns to nothing today
And I forget when to move when my mouth is this
Dry and my eyes are bursting hearts in a blood-stained sky
Oh it was sweet, it was wild and oh how we
I trembled, stuck in honey
Honey cling to me, so just one more
Just one more go
Inspire in me the desire in me to never go home

"Tremella mesenterica (common names include yellow brain, golden jelly fungus, yellow trembler, and witches' butter is a common jelly fungus in the Tremellaceae family of the Agaricomycotina.
It is most frequently found on dead but attached and on recently fallen branches, especially of angiosperms, as a parasite of wood decay fungi in the genus Peniophora.
The gelatinous, orange-yellow fruit body of the fungus, which can grow up to 7.5 cm (3.0 in) diameter, has a convoluted or lobed surface that is greasy or slimy when damp.
It grows in crevices in bark, appearing during rainy weather. Within a few days after rain it dries into a thin film or shriveled mass capable of reviving after subsequent rain.
This fungus occurs widely in deciduous and mixed forests and is widely distributed in temperate and tropical regions that include Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North and South America. Although considered bland and flavorless, the fungus is edible. Tremella mesenterica produces carbohydrates that are attracting research interest because of their various biological activities. - WiKi
"Gele trilzwam (Tremella mesenterica)
- WiKi
Can you hear the wind? Long exposure on a stable tripod. I hesitated to leave this up last year, but assumed on Sliders Sunday folks might feel more lenient, even though I did little to the photo.
Only the wind moved on this cloudy day. Aspen leaves "quake" or tremble in the wind. The pink leaves came from a fruit tree of some sort.
About as shot from RAW. The camera and lens and Nikon 2x teleconverter were on a heavy duty tripod using a Jobu-Design gimbal head.
I adore these leaves and trees. But this is the first time I've let the strong wind determine the photo.
*In January 2022 I asked for help, and a Flickr support hero removed my accounts from the Explore algorithm.
I chose this photo for MM theme as symbol of our lives at the mercy of COVID pandemic.
Beside the EXIF info you can find for this photo, I used also a ND filter to lower the shutter speed and increase the trembling effect.

( Do not ) Tremble is a great track by The Low Anthem , who we saw in Bristol last night and were superb. I love these overpowering Liassic Limestone cliffs on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, but they're not very stable, so being at the base of them is not a good idea. Do not tremble sums up my feelings, and also the wish the cliffs don't move.
Chiharu Shiota’s installation Accumulation: Searching for the Destination is made from approx. 430 oscillating suitcases, the work inspired by the discovery of old newspapers in a suitcase she found in Berlin. All things have their own, innate memories, and in this case, the suitcases suggest the memories, movement and migration of strangers; the very journeys of people’s lives. View the work in ‘Chiharu Shiota: The Soul Trembles’ at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA), Brisbane until 3 October 2022.

Across the warm night's subtle dusk,
Where linger yet the purple light
And perfume of the wild, sweet musk,—
So softly glowing, softly bright,
Tremble the rhododendron bells,
The rose-pink rhododendron bells.

Kearns, Ontario, Canada

Thank you very much for all your comments, they are greatly appreciated.
During my trip across Canada last spring, I had the opportunity to see two black bears and both in Northern Ontario. Here is the second one that I simply saw while driving on the Trans-Canada highway just before enterring the Privince of Quebec after Kearns Ontario. He had climbed to the very top of an Aspen tree and was gorging himself on young shoots and fruit. This young male seemed in no way bothered by my presence on the road at the foot of the tree. A sighting that I really enjoyed.
It's edible but tasteless and apparently sometimes used to give texture to soups. No, I didn't try it and would rather just leave it in the woods. It lights up the dark, autumnal forest floor prettily if it catches a ray of sunlight as in this photo.
Trembler indeed: Tremella mesenterica.
I love rainy days and the way the now-larger and fuller trembling aspen leaves catch drops.
Comments not expected. I post photos that I might print. However, one photo drive wouldn't boot this morning, but the backup peripheral drives worked fine. Shutting all down to reboot.

The crocuses stand in all their glory, trembling on their delicate stalks, but, it’s fantastic to see them, at last some splashes of colours in the grass.
In some areas there are whole carpets of them, fills me with hopeful expectation of all the things to come, the beauty to absorb and of course eternalise…
AND, SURVIVOR...CROCUS
I saw them in the grass, probably trampled by dogs or children.
Picked it up carefully and brought it home... to photograph...
I had to hurry because they are iconic out-door flowers! Love the cold and NOT warmth!
It opened up nicely one last time in all its purple and orange glory.
Another one of my rescues.
Have a beautiful day and thank you for visiting, Magda, (*_*)

When you go in me, crystalline,
Or trembling,
Or uneasy, wounded by me
Or overwhelmed with love, as
when your eyes
Close upon the gift of life
That without cease I give you.
My love,
We have found each other
Thirsty and we have
Drunk up all the water and the
Blood,
We found each other
Hungry
And we bit each other
As fire bites,
Leaving wounds in us.
But wait for me,
Keep for me your sweetness.
I will give you too
A rose.
