while we were out surveying the backyard (from the storms last night) we got too close to the bluebird nest. this bird stuck its head out and was watching us.

Playing around with Photoshop the backgroound is the inside of an old cedar tree

This is a great little hiking path, train stop Riffelalp, part way up the Gornergrat from Zermatt. Leads along ledge in the woods to the Riffelalp Hotel, a great place to stop for a drink.

Some of the wonderful old tree trunks at Stourhead have fine growths of moss on them.
