Holy woodgrain, Batman!
i think i could handle it if it was real, but up-close-and-personal, the woodgrain is UGLY.
The plan:
-paint this a pale, powdery turquoise color in a gloss finish
-possibly paint lower areas in a dark coffee-bean brown
-Contact Paper the fridge door in either 'brushed aluminum' or chalkboard paper

Anyone ever taken out a trailer ceiling without removing the whole roof? Love to hear ideas on how to do so.
My plan is to simply tear down, cut out any soft/old wood joists, retrofit new joists, and cover in an 1/8 inch birch plywood. If $$ works out, i may choose a smooth cedar paneling instead of the birch.
i've also got two new French-style blockprinted tablecloths for this space: both vividly hued blue/red/yellow with paler greens and yellows. With the new paint, these should brighten this space up for summer!
