This little eastern gray treefrog, was found resting on the observation deck at Great River and Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuges in Missouri!

An inhabitant of an interesting microhabitat - a splash pool on the edge of Lake Huron. I suspect that that growth of algae and tadpoles might be favoured in this exposed site. Along the Wreck Island Interpretive Trail.
Taken in Costa Rica. I have as yet been unable to positively identify this little fellow. Can you help?

Baby Treefrog I don't know exactly which species this tree frog is? This little guy was located at Ijams Nature Center, TN.
Agalychnis callidryas, is also known as the red-eyed treefrog. The scientific name of the red-eyed treefrog, A. callidryas, comes from Greek words kalos (beautiful) and dryas (a tree or wood nymph)

(1/2 inch)
PLEASE don't throw medicin or chemicals in water, this is one of the main causes why many anphibians around the world are getting extinct

Red-Eyed Tree Frog (Agalychnis callidryas) found outside my house in La Florida, Golfito, Costa Rica. I used two off-camera Yongnuo speedlights with umbrellas.
