She is a great model and a really good lady to have as friend. I am looking forward to shooting her family portraits soon
Not something you see every day. It definitely got her some attention though.

The old tree at vÀlsta. One day late this time. Very foggy this morning. But not cold, 0 C. For my a photo a week project. I was early this time. Two people out walking their dog 100 meters ahead of me, but you can't see them because of the weather.

A gnarled oak stands defiantly against a chill winter morning in the Hocking Hills of Ohio.
Here's how this tree looked when I visited the same place last year:

While the GX7's dynamic range might not be as impressive as the a7R's, the improvement compared to my former camera - the GF1 - is significant.
My 200th flickr photo.
Kevin called this morning around 6:30 saying it was very foggy on Springfield Rd. The temperature this morning was about 10 degrees and there was a wonderful frost on all the trees as well. The Mackinaw River valley had good visibility but on top of the hill - south of the river - it was foggy. The tree sits on top of the hill north of the river so it wasn't much to look at fog-wise. There was some interesting ice in the tree so I thought I'd make some black and white images.
I fell in love with this Oak tree....it is magnificent!! branching outward like arms stretched out and standing firm as it awaits the brutality which Winter will bring.
