The World's Largest Tree House is located off I-40 Exit 320 near Crossville, Tennessee. It was built by Horace Burgess, beginning in 1993, and took 11 years. Over 258K of nails were used on all the donated lumber. There is an estimated 8-10,000 square feet of floor space and is 100 feet tall. It is built around an 80 foot tall White Oak and 6 other supporting trees. From the top, where the bells are, you can Jesus in the garden below!

This small, two story building was built by the owner as a play-house for his daughter. Later, it was upgraded to serve as a cottage, a wedding gift for his Daughter and her Husband.

As seen from the Storybook Land Canal Boats.

The Storybook Land Canal Boats and the Casey Jr. Circus Train cover the same territory, weaving over and under each other's paths. The scenery for both rides are detailed miniatures from locations in various Disney movies.

Made it through bisque firing... still have long way to go. Now start thinking about the tusk color.

I'm very excited.. I can see "mini me" sitting on there :D

Alnwick Gardens have this wondeful tree house, made obviously from wood and placed obviously in trees. You can have a wondeful meal there or just enjoy the view and the rope bridges.

A tree house near Lynn Canyon in North Vancouver. Precarious. Sleep walkers should avoid living here.

Hayden and I went Ocean City-ing yesterday and had bunches of fun.

We played in at least three different arcades and I won three elephants with 50 cents but gave one to an elephantless little girl.

Also, Hayden got two of those little airplanes and we threw them at the bay and he also got me a golden whistle which will come in handy in Philly this fall.

It was a bummer that Patrick couldn't come because he is lame, but I still had a good time with my bubbuddy.

Shore life.

A tree house was built on a large tree near the Amaya Lake.

The tree house continues to evolve. Sensei Wu has enlisted a hunter and a new trainee to help expand the tree house. They have now successfully added a top level wedged into the tree branches using custom "pillows" to prevent bark damage. Below this is the suspended level that hangs in the tree. The lowest level has a smaller crane for supply loading and a larger fort area of defense and storage. The kitchen/bathroom is kept intact as it is important. Plumming has been disabled for now, so watchout below.

An indoor tree house? Who ever heard of such a thing... it fit right into the fantasy woods here.

A hundred or so local artists contributed to Meow Wolf, a huge "immersive art experience" in Santa Fe. There are more than seventy rooms to explore, ranging from the apparently ordinary to the way, way far out there.

We visited this past weekend and trust me, these photos do not do the place justice.
