My take on the lone tree at Buttermere, It's shot to death but always nice to get your own take on an iconic location.
We headed down here on Sunday evening and although we were a little late for sunset we still got a bit of light hitting Fleetwith Pike.

As much as I appreciated comments and feedback I would request no Awards or flashy gif comments, please. They will be deleted. Thank you.
This tree is located along The Rivers Trail, a network of walking paths on the banks of the North and South Thompson Rivers. It was kind of a surprising thing to find this carving as it must have involved several hours work and it's doubtful that it was sanctioned by the city. I do love it but I just hope it hasn't harmed the tree.
Trees are reflected on the smooth waters of a branch of Lake Worth at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge, Texas.
These days I was walking through a field, and then I came across this beautiful tree yellow flowers.
First looking up photo was taken on other side of deep in-frame pines. That area is now forest. This one is taken from my back yard lawn. I have lots of leaves to rake this weekend! Photo taken at sunset with sunlight high in trees.
Tree is not very important to me. If there is no tree is not satisfied my photos. And in the same motif of the tree and there are people who have taken a great photo.

Autumn lingers on, here in Alaska. I awoke to 40 F. degree's this morning, with a steady rain falling. The beautiful colored leaves are now on the ground, and the snow is slowly creeping down the mountains. When Doc. Doolittle (my hubby) goes out to fill the feeders each morning - he is now greeted by an ever larger flock of camp robbers (otherwise known as "grey jays") eager for their morning breakfast. They will grow in numbers as it gets closer to winter - and soon will be fighting each other for the breakfast scraps.
It sounds amazing! I did video it but you really couldn't hear it very clearly and I couldn't hold the camera still, she's high up in a Larch tree.

This Yellow Tyrannulet was hanging out along the road to Cano Negro in northern Costa Rica earlier this month. We had pulled over to see if we could get a good view of a White-ringed Flycatcher that we spotted in the top of a tree but it was a hopeless case. However, the Tyrannulet seemed to be begging to have its photo taken, flitting from one open perch to another.
We will be doing this trip again next spring, if you think you might be interested more information is available here: www.texastargetbirds.com/group-photo-trips/2018-costa-ric...
