Though there are a few mature models, the origin of Moon still needs further explanations. Extensive mapping of lunar surface to study variations in lunar surface composition is essential to trace back the origin and evolution of the Moon. Evidence for water molecules discovered by Chandrayaan-1, requires further studies on the extent of water molecule distribution on the surface, below the surface and in the tenuous lunar exosphere to address the origin of water on Moon.
The lunar South Pole is especially interesting because of the lunar surface area here that remains in shadow is much larger than that at the North Pole. There is a possibility of the presence of water in permanently shadowed areas around it. In addition, South Pole region has craters that are cold traps and contain a fossil record of the early Solar System.

Castle Ring is an Iron Age hill fort, situated high up on the southern edge of Cannock Chase (The Chase), Staffordshire, England.

As we walked across #RainbowBridge above the #NiagaraRiver from Canada back to the United States #BorderCrossing, we had to stop at the international boundary line that separates the two countries to take a photo while overlooking the #NiagaraFalls #Skyline! #HorseshoeFalls is off in the distance while #MaidOfTheMist is getting ready to take its voyage into the center of the Misty falls where the passengers will be soaked! This mighty #waterfall is a spectacular sight to see with your own eyes!

Mairie de Cannes is Cannes Town Hall built in 1877 so it showcases 19th century architecture. It is located right in front of the port so while you are visiting the port you can also visit the Town Hall. It is a very busy building as local French residents will come to take care of business and register everything required by the city.

Heavy wind and snowing force the sand and dust into the len of my camera. Still able to get a decent picture of it. So it is easier to use a handphone than a camera.
Spotted a number of Kangaroos in the wild in the Macedon Ranges with a local fire as a backdrop. Shot with a telephoto from a car parked some distance away.
Midi Beach is another public beach on the other side of Cannes, away from Boulevard de La Croisette with nice sandy beaches and spectacular views of the mountains in the distance! This is also a fantastic place to view the sunset every evening as you can watch the sun descend behind the mountains!

CAM Raleigh is relatively new and was built in the warehouse district of downtown Raleigh. It is the Contemporary Art Museum and it opened to the public in the Spring of 2011. The museum has about 20,000 square feet for their 3 galleries and dedicated educational spaces. Currently, you can view the mural "End Racism Now" painted in yellow, just outside the Contemporary Art Museum along W Martin Street.

Looking up from the beautiful Arabic barrio called the Albaicín, you can see the majestic walls of the Alhambra! A palace and fortress complex located in Granada, Spain. The fortress has the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the background! This is just one of the many treasures of Andalusia and the south of Spain! It was originally constructed as a small fortress in AD 889 on the remains of Roman fortifications!

This troop or barrel of Barbary macaque monkeys is the only wild population of monkeys on the European continent.
