Top: cast acrylic cube

Bottom: cut extruded tube that's been torched. This technique is fairly common. Unfortunately, the properties of extruded acrylic does not lend itself to torching as well as cast acrylic. In case you were wondering...

I went through this phase of trying to make transparent cubes for a while. It was fun while it lasted.

These are the layered transparencies from my Siblings Project. I wanted to see the features that siblings have in common. I didn't want to use Photoshop because I wanted it to be an interactive display. I matched them using the feature that was the most similar. They are printed on clear film.
