This double page background is gessoed with tissue paper over it, then covered with matte medium. The glass mirror is a magazine picture with part of the glass made transparent with packing tape. (Secure packing tape on the image and wet the back and rub gently until the back paper is gone. The ink from the front will remain.) The lady is printed on transparency. The words are stamped and the music is torn from a vintage book and distressed.

Coming Out....love the detail on the wings on him here!

my garden, on the foxgloves I let grow as they self seeded from the fields behind my house all over....a firm favourite with these guys...glad I kept them as the rain has made a mess of my roses, we are quite exposed to the elements at the back and have taken a real battering, yet these still stand and keep these fellas in good shape !! Doing my bit for nature.....well, bees here.

The Best Mug Ever.... Same set up as before, but had a lamp shining the front a little bit so the mug wouldn't look like a silhouette.

Heart-to-heart...Nothing to hide.

These images are printed on transparencies, size 2.75" x 3". They're placed on top of compartments of a white-painted box divided into 6 compartments, the whole thing measuring 2.75" x 18," that I found in a junk shop. A mirror is glued to the back of each compartment so that you look at the surface of the transparency to see the image and at the same time look though the transparency to see the image reflected in the mirror. A piece of plexiglass covers the transparencies.

Took this one with the same set up as the others. Or at least i think i did. I kept refilling the glass after a few shots, and after about the 25th shot, i don't remember much after that. Took alot of pictures of my carpet for some reason....
