We had the chance to visit Helsinki opera and attend "Faust" (composed by Gounod) which was performed during our stay.
This new Opera house by the architects Hyvämäki, Karhunen and Parkkinen was opened in 1993.
The architecture (interior and exterior) is really spectucular.
the unit consists of 4 UV blacklight bulbs that will harden the light-sensitive emulsion. The transparencies act as stencils and block out the light so that the areas where they are stay open. You'll see what I mean when I show the "wash out" photos.

I wanted to use some of the transparencies made for a graphics project before I threw them away, so I mixed them with some of the colours used.
