A ballad in which I had my thoughts about my deceased mother written as lyrics. It's a bit sad but I think it turned out beautifully anyway. As always, there may be translation errors, please accept my apologies.
I chose the beautiful place “Oasis” as the filming location again, you will see why.
It translates to "I go to the Buddha for refuge, I go to the Dhamma for refuge, I go to the Sangha for refuge." This phrase is a core part of Buddhist practice, signifying the taking of refuge in the Three Jewels

Aan het Prins Hendrikplein zag ik een zwart huis in een tuin staan. Er wijst een rode pijl naar de houten deur. Hierachter bevindt het houten huisje, dat vermoedelijk in een tuin staat. Tuinhuisje of Gastenverblijf?
Overigens nog een geluk dat deze foto scherp is. Ergens op het Noordeinde had ik een foto gemaakt en per ongeluk mijn afstandsinstelling op handmatig gezet. Alles wat ik daarna gefotografeerd heb is onscherp, behalve deze dus. Puur toeval.

About the project:
I apply linguistic theories of cohesion in text (meronymy) to the composition of my photographs. Most of the time I use one single image for my works that I like studying in terms of possible different meanings ("visual" semantic) to translate it later into the composition of my diptychs or triptychs.

Sceliphron caementarium from Angelina County, Texas.
This is probably one of our most familiar wasps. I love the specific epithet “caementarium“. It translates to mason or “builder of walls”, but sounds like a gothic cement prison, which is fitting for the mud nest where this species imprisons paralyzed spiders. I find these wasps to be especially striking, with their sleek form and black and yellow markings.
Translation: "LD50 is defined as any scientific procedure in which a substance is administered to an animal for the purpose of determining the concentration or dose of the substance which will achieve a predetermined death rate."
In the tradition of the best laid plans oft failing, parts of my rather sweet-smelling scheme have shriveled up and died, but all is not lost. It may require some extra effort on my part, but I think the fruits it will eventually bear will be a bit sweeter for it.
Also today I hit 500,000 views on my photostream. Thanks to all of the flickrees who have stopped by to smell my proverbial roses!

"This holy church of Turnu monastery dedicated to The Entry of the Most Holy Theothokos into the Temple founded by metropolitan Varlaam of Wallachia in 1676 burned on the 7th of February 1932 together with the bell tower and 5 houses. By November 1935, the church, the bell tower and 2 houses had already been rebuilt by the work and at the expense of the Right Reverend bishop Nichita of Argeș and by public collection, abbot being hieromonk Callist Barbu. The mural painting was executed without pay by painter Dimitrie Velizarie from Domnești Muscel. Only the arches of the narthex keep their old painting and also the paintings of the founders survived. The gold and paint were gifted by priest Nicolae Runceanu from Bucharest. Consecrated by the Right Reverend bishop Nichita of Argeș on the 21st of November 1935. Carved by V. Franț from Pitești."

Smögen is a locality situated in Sotenäs Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It is one of the liveliest "summer towns" of the Swedish west coast.
The community actually straddled several islands that lay so close together that the space in between has since been filled, and is now considered as a single island. The southern part consists mostly of Smögen Island, which lies in the centre. Around this lies to the south Kleven, in the northwest Sandön, and in the northeast, Hasselön. The town is connected to the neighbouring town Kungshamn by Smögenbron (Smögen Bridge).
Smögen is mentioned for the first time towards the end of the 16th century. The name of the community has varied over the years; amongst other names, from "Smögit", "Smöenn", "Smöget" and "Smygesund". The name has probably come from the Swedish word smyghål, which translates as "sneak-hole" or "nook", referring to the narrow inlet between the Smögen island and where the harbour lies. Around the 17th century, the island Hasselön was populated, and through the years this community has grown together with Smögen, and is today considered a part of the Smögen community.
In modern times, Smögen is well known for its long, wooden pier, about 600 m (2,000 ft), filled with shops in old fishing huts, which are frequented by a multitude of tourists during the summer. Smögen is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Swedish west coast, well known for its fish, prawns and other seafood, and one of Sweden's few fish markets is located here. There is also an extensive nightlife scene, with many bars, clubs and concert venues open during the summer.
