EXPLORED! 7-17-09! Highest position #2/500...

Thank you very much!

In conjunction with the launching of the highly anticipated movie of the year “Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen”, an exhibition was held at one of my local shopping malls & it attracted a large crowd of people gathering & taking photos of the popular toy figures that were on display.

I guess it didn’t take you long to figure out I was joining the crowd or I wouldn’t have this photo uploaded on Flickr by now. It was a great family event you could notice how happy & giddy the little kids were. Being an adult, it did not deprive me of having my own fun though...mind you, I had a ball taking photos thru my viewfinder that day.

Gung Ho feeling kooler than he really is.

This picture's freaking sweet.

Ad-Deir Monastery of Petra was featured in the story of the Blockbuster Movie Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

The Ancient City of Petra was carved into the Sandstone Rock by Nomadic Nabataean Arabs in the 6th Century BCE.

The City was completely abandoned after an earthquake in 363 CE. In 1812 this magnificant city was "rediscovered" by Swiss Explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. Petra's discovery was credited to Burckhardt and it was him who brought it's splendid ruins to the West's attention.

Bumblebee has seen better days. Where's his ass and legs?

He's just lying there in a pile, with no love.

Bumblebee is the "little brother" of the heroic or protagonistic Autobot faction and a mascot, constantly striving to prove himself in the eyes of the other robots - especially his leader, Optimus Prime. This often causes him to take risks that put him in danger. Although a bit of a wise-cracker, he is a capable and reliable messenger and spy. He was later reconstructed into a stronger, more mature form as Goldbug.

Bumblebee retains some elements from his Generation 1 design, such as the iconic horn-like pieces in his head, which are articulated in the films. The cautious but brave Bumblebee was given a different alternate mode from his original G1 incarnation, instead of a Volkswagen Beetle, he transforms into a Chevrolet Camaro. In the shot I, have tried to recreate a scene of the Dark of the Moon movie, where Bee looks at the sky as the Decepticons enter the Earth.

Optimus Prime, leader of the Go-Bots.

Boom!!!

Prime and the Beester just kickin' it.

They stopped by the studio to say Hi.

It was July 20, 1969 that the Apollo 11 spacecraft landed on the moon. The mission was crewed by Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin. As a result of that mission, July 20 has become known as Moon Day.

Until recently it was believed that the Americans wanted to beat the Russians to the Moon as promised by J.F. Kennedy in 1961. But as we all know, it was really to find something that was more than meets the eye!

For a funny version of Moon Day, check out the Alternative Version here.

Enjoy!

Deluxe Class Lockdown by Hasbro.

Recently decided to do some custom paint touch ups on this figure.

As they were packing up set pieces, they tilted this bad boy upright, in plain view. Behold, Optimus Prime, leader of the good Gobots, in robot mode. Looks like they're keeping the classic color scheme...

Guy riding in the trunk with a giant lozenge-shaped grey tribble.

Going kinda fast too...

"Bring me the head of Optimus Prime."

Next to the helicopter, you can get a sense of scale.

Megatron, leader of the bad Gobots.

"Tanks, I'll be here all week."

Evil Gobot leader Megatron will no doubt make a brutally, jarringly, and painfully overt product plug.

I can hear it already: "Where is your God now?? Ha ha ha ha! Eat at Burger King!"

Optimus Prime, leader of the Go-Bots.
