The first service batch of the new Mercedes-Benz eCitaro went to Transdev's The Harrogate Bus Company for use on their town services, as well as longer distance routes 7 to Leeds and 24 to Pateley Bridge, and 'the one' series 1/1A/1B/1C to Knaresborough. It's lovely to see these electric cruisers in service in on UK roads.
1007 (BV74 NFC) is one of a batch of twenty, with more due for the group later this year for service on 'the shuttle' 662 from Keighley to Bradford. It's seen leaving Harrogate on a 1A to Aspin.

Transdev Harrogate have made a great effort with the Volvo B8 demonstrator applying some tasteful relief and lettering on its white livery.
Transdev Keighley 'Otleydash' branded Optare Solo 155 is seen here on Cattle Market Street, Otley with an Otleydash service to Otley and Menston.
Surprisingly these buses run dead all the way from Keighley (some 12 miles away) to operate this route and the 962, between Otley and Ilkley.
Not having a route number is something that is becoming more common at Transdev under the leadership of Alex Hornby. This current route is a cross town service, linking the old 965 service to the estates north of Otley with Menston railway station and village.
The vehicle pictured started life working on Keighley local routes under the 'Jets' brand, and was then painted into its current livery last year.
