Transdev in Keighley revealed their newly refurbished 1801 to the public at their joint depot open day with Keighley Bus Museum on 6 April 2015. This is now the third different version of 'the shuttle' route branding to be worn by this Wright Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B7RLE but this is more than just a change to the branding.
In a similar way to some Burnley & Pendle Mainline B10BLE's and Harrogate & District's route 36 Gemini's these buses are having Eclipse 2 style front ends added. This time leather seating has been replaced with fabric and USB chargers are included between each pair of seats. The two tone blue theme is carried on internally and the whole effect is much nicer than the current fare.
I wonder if these may also receive age disguising reregistrations as well?

I did have a bit of a problem with pedestrians in this location, they clearly carry on walking and expect vehicles to stop! Hence the varied positioning of vehicles in the pictures as I waited for people to clear.

Transdev Harrogate has now placed its 2nd demonstration bus into use on the 36. The StreetDeck is a totally wrightbus built product with a Daimler ( Mercedes-Benz ) 5 litre engine, which im told is mounted, along with the transmission, in the fore and aft direction rather than transversely. Id be interest to know what the price difference is between this product and the NBfL...Here "9101" poses at Belvedere Ave, Alwoodley on its first day in use with Harrogate.
