Photo : Le Moulin à vent de la Conchette sur le port de plaisance de Jard-sur-Mer a été construit au XIXème siècle et entièrement rénové. Légende : L’histoire dit que ce moulin fut construit pour remercier un garçon meunier parti à la guerre à la place du fils d’une riche famille. Une transaction fut faite : le garçon meunier parti faire les trois années et à son retour de la guerre, fit fonctionner le moulin qui, dès lors, lui appartint.

The Deutsche Bank Twin Towers, also known as Deutsche Bank Headquarters (German: Zwillingstürme der Deutschen Bank or Hauptverwaltung Deutsche Bank AG), is a twin tower skyscraper complex in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. Both towers rise to 155 m (509 ft) and serve as headquarters for Deutsche Bank, the largest bank in Germany. The twin towers are sometimes nicknamed Debit and Credit (German: Soll und Haben), the two aspects of every financial transaction.

I don't know if you have noticed lately, but it is becoming harder and harder to pay by cash. Cash machines are being removed at an alarming rate and even our local park you now have to pay to park your car using an app on your phone, or walk for what seems like miles to pay in the gift shop by card...they no longer accept cash! Just imagine a world without cash, no more treating the grandkids with a couple of pounds, no more markets or car boot sales and every single transaction you make logged by those in control...
No, narcolepsy has nothing to do with narcs surreptitiously stalking you and pouncing on you in the middle of a potentially extremely profitable business transaction between dusk and dawn. It is defined as “a condition characterized by an extreme tendency to fall asleep whenever in relaxing surroundings”. Well, apparently, my buddy Terra (short for Pterodactyl – the “a” in Terra signifies female) must have been in somewhat relaxing surroundings. I suspect it may have had something to do with a party-hardy-previous-night-outing. You can tell by the fact she’s still wearing her party outfit and fancy hat to accessorize same. While I was busy fiddling with my camera settings, all of a sudden my girl seemed sound asleep which gave me more time to make adjustments. This feeder is not really designed for her as shown by how the feeder tilts to the right under her weight. How do I know it’s a she? Since that stripe on her cheek (the one extending from the beak) is dark brownish black and not red, it indicates it’s a female. The male’s red hat would also extend to the top of the beak. As you can see the female’s forehead is on the gray side or at least not red. This female sighting is actually another first for me and the camera.
Since she looks somewhat otherworldly in this pose and with this facial expression, she reminds me somewhat of a vampire that could be encountered after dark. For this reason we are featuring After Dark – Tito y Taruntala as interpreted by Salma Hayek in From dusk till dawn.

On this day in 2016, one of my life long dreams realized. For those who may be interested, an extract from my Journal:
From The Big Tree we went to Victoria Falls where Darryl said he'd take us on a 3 Km walk overlooking the falls. One couple in our party had enough hard currency to buy a 15 minutes helicopter flight over the falls. Quite a few of our party, myself included, wanted to take the flight, but lacked the requisite US$150 in cash. In fact I had the money, but felt I may need it for my week in Botswana.
Darryl called the helicopter operator to arrange a pick up and delivery for the couple who were flying. Suddenly the operator was willing to accept credit card payments for flights; it's amazing what ten passengers, now at US$200 a head, will do to a man's business principles.
Our Victoria Falls walk was cut short, two transit vans appeared from out of the scrub and we were whisked away to a small helipad on the edge of town. There followed an excruciating delay while bank approvals for credit card payments were obtained over dodgy phone lines. Next came the catch, we also had to pay an entry fee for the National Park, even though we'd already paid to enter the park. The entry was a mere US$12, payable only in cash, and no he'd not accept credit cards for this transaction, however he'd accept other hard currencies. I paid in South African Rand, of course no ticket was issued, this was Zimbabwe and extortion was the name of the game.
While we waited the operator tried selling us souvenirs and 250 ml cans of Coke for a mere US$3 each. Some people bought a can and were surprised to receive change in US dollars. Already I'd learned from transactions in South Africa, that when buying anything it was essential to offer the correct sum. If you didn't, the vendor suddenly had a change shortage. If you bought something more, and paid a little extra, things might even out, but usually the buyer came up short, and the vendor was even better off.
After scouring through My Inventory and not finding a LM to my Tier place (I do not pay My Tier so I never needed it) I Finally did a Search on SL.com to find the transaction of Dollars for cloase to that time. I sent the 30 days to Excel and Holy Hell, I Buy it all, when You do not have a Limit, Your limit is Nothing. Imma still buy stuff, But I am also going to be a Bit More selective. So Here's to 103K Gone...

I'm thrilled to be a Designer in the monthly TWE12VE Event! The first day of the event I had so many sales immediately that I had to copy my SL Transaction List over again. There are some wonderful Designers at this event and everyone has some great items following the theme "Fantasy Flowers"!

Au fil du marché de Courteille, le commerce va bon train. De quoi opérer quelques transactions monétaires permettant d'échanger un bouquet de fleurs issu du travail vivant contre de la monnaie, c'est à dire du travail cristallisé.
Au final, quelque part, tout dans l'économie est une question de travail... Même le dimanche. :-))
