Megan donned an equally vulgar top, poor Vera's face reddens with each strange look they get, while Megan simply giggles.

Rainbow coloured umbrellas at Trinidad & Tobago’s 2019 PRIDE celebrations. A powerful symbol of hope for the LGBTQIA community around the world, the rainbow is most visible in its use in the rainbow flag designed by openly gay artist and activist Gilbert Baker (1951 – 2017).
Before the flag, the most recognisable gay symbol was the pink triangle, which originated as a badge for identifying homosexual prisoners in Nazi concentration camps. Baker took issue with the tainted history of this symbol, saying that “We needed something beautiful, something from us… The rainbow is so perfect because it really fits our diversity in terms of race, gender, ages, all of those things. “
The original flag had eight colours, each assigned a meaning: hot pink for sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, turquoise for magic, blue for serenity and violet for spirit – two more than the version seen flown today.
Today the flag continues to be reinterpreted by the adding or modifying of colours, to represent those who have been marginalized, ignored, and even intentionally excluded from the wider queer community.
