A quiet corner of Tarn Hows

Pyramid Lake in Jasper National Park, Canada at sunrise.

After the sun has set the winds calmed down enough to get a few shots. A storm had just passed through so it was touch and go if I would come home empty handed.

Just before yesterday's sunset at Leekstermeer, Groningen, The Netherlands.

The view opposite my old house in Argaka

The conditions were what I was waiting for - some colour in the sky and calm conditions on the salt marsh flats.

I get a deep sense of inner peace when I see a beautiful bird such as this roseate spoonbill feeding and preening in a glassy surfaced lagoon, bathed in early morning light.
