Not sure what train or transfer this might have been, but this solid set of WC SD45s was working Norfolk Southern's Colehour Yard in Hammond, IN on 13 May 2001, a few months before the CN acquisition was completed in October.
6603 was reportedly the former ATSF 5332.
This is my only shot of WC power doing something other than sitting around.
Three Volvo B10BLE Wright Renowns remain in the Brighton & Hove fleet as trainers 221, 235 & 236. Here at the Old Steine this afternoon is remembered 7221.
The day is drawing to a close, we take the train to nowhere, over bridges and water.....

Spotted this train on the way back from shooting mountain scenes, and had to step on it to get ahead of the train and in position to take the photo. This is just north of Arlee, Montana, population 636.
CSX fuel tender 993368 is sandwiched between CSX AC44CWs 30 and 29 on coal train N001, headed west at Whitehouse, FL, just west of Jacksonville, on 3 May 1996.
Norfolk Southern Chicago-bound intermodal train No. 217 leaves West Virginia behind as it crosses the Ohio River into South Point, Ohio.
Playing with a wide angle fisheye to achieve a close encounter with this engine.
The train graveyard yielded some beautiful images for me. More to come.
SOO F7's 2201-B and 2225-B and their caboose are Transfer #1 heading for St. Paul after dropping their train at Cardigan Jct. June 1978.

This was the second train that came by. The second train came by only ten minutes later. The railroad line is owned by Norfolk Southern. Here is a video of this train. This locomotive is a C40-9W. I am using rrpicturearchives.net to know the type of locomotive. I'm still learning the different types of locomotives. This is a C40-9W.
