We just saw these this week. Super cute. Would love some of these. We probably won't buy Happy Meals but they should start turning up in the thrift stores. 😊
We found these Transformers at the thrift store. Of course we know very little about Transformers but these look cool, they're heavy and the joints are tight.
And of the little we know about Transformers, what we do know is that when you find them at $2, you get them! 😊
On clearance at Walmart. We got them all so we could get the store display as well. We used to say this was to decorate the Whatnot display, but now that display is full. So... I guess we just like all these mini sets and the display boxes. 😊

Megatron here is missing one of his dragon heads.

Thrift store find. A gaming standard when CM was in college. This one looks to be complete (CM will stand there in the store forever counting pieces. I'm SO happy he doesn't collect jigsaw puzzles!) and we didn't have it so, extra marker coloring on the front notwithstanding, we were happy to find it for $5.
Today at one of the Goodwill stores on our thrift route, we found a nice little KidKraft dollhouse, with the furniture, a doll family and some extras.
We also found bags of Rainbow High dolls crazy cheap but that's another photo.
Anyway, CM was lugging stuff as usual and it suddenly reminded me of a photo from 14 years ago at the flea market:
www.flickr.com/photos/cmultra/5002648065/
That caused me to think this would be a fun modern parallel photo.
Things haven't changed! CM's still a good sport about being a grown man toting dollhouses around. 😄
It also caused me to give thanks to God for consistency in life. In a fallen world of deceit and violence, it doesn't just happen that we live in such a stable society that 14 years later, we're still enjoying toy photography.
It is the grace of God in His kindness towards our nation through our Savior, the Lord, Christ Jesus. 😊 🙏
Don't change! Keep enjoying toys! And give thanks. 😊
Thrift store find. We have some of the original modules, etc, but this was only a couple of dollars. Pretty box art. Complete except for the polyhedral die, of which we have plenty already.
Maybe the My Size Barbies can enjoy!
When back to #toyhunting and I found the new #MonsterHigh #vinyl I also found #duchessswan but her eyebrow paint was chipped also found #DexterCharming #rerelease #doll but his face had splat of paint on it found also #kittychasire but didn't get her.
Clearance at Walmart. Too cheap to pass up. They're fun sets but we will probably use for sell/trade.
Miss Shannon always has a fun selection of plastic animals like Schleich to dig through. I found a Saint Bernard, which we can never have enough of! So he came home with us. 😊
Almost there! It's taken a few years but we now have 7 of the Remco Mighty Crusaders series of 8 on the card. The evil Buzzard is the last one to find.
Is this a highly prized line in the action figure community? Hardly.
It is a very fun line for us though, pointing back to a really cool toymaker, Remco, and some Golden Age super-hero goodness in the Mighty Crusaders. A nifty combo!
Part of a big clearance haul. They had lots of the Indiana Jones Adventure Series at really low prices. I don't think this series sold well, but it's an excellent line from Hasbro.
In a 1:12 market saturated with super-heroes, space, and sword & sorcery, it's quite fun to find 1940s gangsters, businessmen, and ruffians! 😊
Found at the thrift store.
Another excellent Imaginext find. The armor pieces on the frong flip up to form wings.
Ch'od BAF
We're happy to have a Legends version of Emma in Paprihaven.
We remain quite unhappy with Hasbro's 'plastic free' packaging. No idea, no clue if the figure is good or broken, or has a factory defect, etc, without opening the package.
Which, we tend to do anyway. But the clear bubbles on packaging allow buyers inspect the toy without opening, and they display much better.
Miss Shannon is our favorite vendor for toys and great conversation! She is a toy hunter extraordinaire and always amazes us with her finds.
A visit to her shop is always a super fun routine of looking through her toys while chatting about latest finds, the business, etc. She'll always clear us a spot on a table to put what we like and then, once we're done, give us a price on the bundle. That results in the "haggling" which mainly consists of CM repeating her price and giving long thoughtful pauses. Then he'll either counter or find some other items to try and sweeten the deal. Shannon is always fun with an easy "Okay!" or a firm "No!" 😊
It had been many months since we were able to get back to the flea market so we were so happy to see her!
Found at the thrift store.
A nice rare find for $2! Mattel's Brave and the Bold toys are getting harder to find. And this Batmobile is sweet!
Look for it to appear in the '66 Batcave.
I came across a huge selection of Transformers Animated toys last weekend. I bought a lot. I now don't need to toyhunt for a good while.
The Prime/Megatron 2 pack is just great. The toys are only deluxe size, but they're packed with awesome. When I tried to put the axe into both of Prime's hands (as advertised on the box) this shot immediately came to mind.
Plastic 52 - year 2, week 5.
Title by katsuboy. Thanks!!!!
The tall fellow in the very sharp matching jacket and hat is another toy hound! We call him Mister Toy! We parked by his truck and, as usual, it was loaded with finds! He actually helped Miss Shannon get started with her store and we've bought from him in the past. It's always a bonus happiness to meet him at the flea market. 😊
Ross had some new toys but their toy section overall had shrunk. Still it was at Ross' low clearance prices so we picked up a few choice items.
One of our favorite knock-off lines, GX Mega Force figures are 14" tall and wonderfully silly looking.
Finding this one still on the card at $12 was an instant 'Yes, please!'
If you only look at the shelves in Miss Shannon's store, that's a joy in itself but you'd be missing 70% of her offerings. You have to pull the tubs out from under the tables and look through those. Here CM is going through a tub of 90s goodness like Toy Biz Marvel, American Gladiators, MMPR, etc.
We passed on this grab bag though it looks fun! The vehicles overall were a bit big for our usual scale.

Always happy to find vinyl dollcases! And Fashionistas occupy a special place in our hearts.
This one is from 2011 in lovely condition.
Thrift store find.
via Instagram ift.tt/1P1Jv1l There's a certain kind of charm to how some Boglins aged. Animal Planet 1:18 dinos and figures are not great, but for $9 we thought this was worth a try, especially with the water vapor feature.
