Couldn't resist snapping this on my way home.

It was still bitterly cold though - you can tell there was a stiff breeze coming from the east by the damp patch next to the fountain.

Busy London on a cold murky day

a few buildings near the Thames forming attractive lines caught my eye.

Classic view of London City Hall and Tower Bridge at night

I was at More London today for a meeting and took the opportunity to take a photo of this iconic London landmark. It was finally a bright sunny day after several days of rain.

Walkie-Talkie building, 20 Fenchurch St, London

Wikipedia: This is a commercial skyscraper in London that takes its name from its address on Fenchurch Street, in the historic City of London financial district. It has been nicknamed "The Walkie-Talkie" because of its distinctive shape, said to resemble a two-way radio handset. Construction was completed in spring 2014, and the three-floor "sky garden" was opened in January 2015. The 38-storey building is 160 m tall. The Sky Garden is on the top two floors and is open to the public

I still squeal like a child when the bridge raises :)

Another brief stop off on my way home from work, this time to get a shot of Tower Bridge as the night comes down. This shot was taken outside City Hall, using the railings for supporting my little pocket tripod which kept my phone nice and steady for the 1 second exposure.
