Spinnaker Tower at the Gunwharf Portsmouth UK. Behind it is HMS Warrior, a Royal Navy Ship from the Mid 19th Century. Now part of the attractions at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
I was waiting for the sunset light to hit Scrabo Tower tonight and noticed the full moon creeping into shot. The sky was still bright and over exposed so I used a 3 stop ND Grad to darken it down, this let me get the moon into shot.
Cabot Tower a historical landmark located on Signal Hill a National Historic site in the City of St. John's on the Avalon Peninsula in Newfoundland and Labrador Canada
Cabot Tower is a tower in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, situated on Signal Hill. Construction of the tower began in 1898 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of John Cabot's discovery of Newfoundland, and Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
In 1901, Guglielmo Marconi received the first trans-Atlantic wireless message at a position near the tower, the letter "S" in Morse Code sent from Poldhu, Cornwall, United Kingdom. Cabot Tower is now the centre of the Signal Hill National Historic Site of Canada,] with walking trails and an interpretation centre.
Located at the highest point of Signal Hill, overlooking the city and the ocean, Cabot Tower is an example of late-Gothic Revival style. Built of irregularly coursed red sandstone, it is composed of a two-story, 30 foot, square structure with a three-story, 50 foot octagonal tower that stands on the southeast corner of the building. The corners are buttressed at the first floor level and further emphasized through the use of heavier blocks of stone. On the main body of the building, at the top of the second storey level, is a line of repeating pattern like an exaggerated dentil row or inverted crenelations. The attached tower, which houses the main entrance, is very plain with a double string course marking the divisions between second and third storeys and heavy corbel tables marking the eight corners of the turret at the flared upper level. The windows on both the corner turret and the body of the tower proper are rectangular and set under heavy stone lintels.
The architect of Cabot Tower, William Howe Greene, was a prominent St. John's architect and an associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Wikipedia

A sunrise that lacked a certain woomph but it means I will keep revisiting until I'm satisfied.
Sun rise meant to happen at 4.52am according to The Photographer's Ephemeris; the shot was taken at 5:40am.
By that time all the night lights had been turned off.

The historical clock tower is located in the Konak Square in the city centre of Izmir in Turkey, and it was designed by the Levantine French architect Raymond Charles Père, and built in 1901 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the accession to the throne of Sultan Abdülhamid II (1876–1909).The clock itself was a gift from German Emperor Wilhelm II and was decorated in an elaborate Ottoman style.

Tonight, I take you to the Belem Tower, still a must in Lisbon 😉
Failing to be able to go at sunset (which I would have liked at the base, but the tower is quite eccentric center in fact ...), I had to do with! Here, I tried to put some dynamics with the waves in the foreground.
Good night !

On the left, the church of St Thomas of Canterbury, built 1874-5. On the right, the tower of the church of St Mary Magdalene. This church was begun in Norman times, with the tower being rebuilt in 1503. The tower is now the only remaining part of St Mary, the rest having been demolished in 1871 with some of the stone being used to enlarge the nearby St George’s which itself was destroyed, apart from its tower, in WW2.
The just-completed DC Tower 3 is a 110-meter residential tower that provides housing for 832 students. It is located in Vienna's Donau City, not far from the Vienna International Center (aka UNO City).
The DC Towers (actually Donau City Towers) are three skyscrapers designed and partially completed by French architect Dominique Perrault. The first of the three towers, DC Tower 1, a hotel and office building, opened on February 26, 2014. The construction of DC Tower 2 has been enormously delayed for reasons unknown to me, but reportedly it has now begun after all.
Eltz Castle (German: Burg Eltz) is a medieval castle nestled in the hills above the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier, Germany. It is still owned by a branch of the same family (the Eltz family) that lived there in the 12th century, 33 generations ago. Bürresheim Castle, Eltz Castle and Lissingen Castle are the only castles on the left bank of the Rhine in Rhineland-Palatinate which have never been destroyed. The castle is surrounded on three sides by the Elzbach River, a tributary on the north side of the Moselle. It is on a 70-metre (230 ft) rock spur, on an important Roman trade route between rich farmlands and their markets. The Eltz Forest has been declared a nature reserve by Flora-Fauna-Habitat and Natura 2000. (Wikipedia) Wierschem, Germany.
Is the tower at the end of the perspective really leaning? It's all a question of point of view... Like so many things in life, you have to look at everything from every angle.
Est-elle réelement penchée cette tour qui pointe au bout de la perspective? Tout est une question de point de vue… Comme beaucoup de choses dans la vie, il faut savoir regarder tout sous tous les angles.
