Powered by two, EMD 16-645-E6 diesel engines. With Reintjes, hydraulic, WAF 1961 reduction gears, at a ratio of 5:1:1. Turning two, three bladed, right hand, turning 114(in) by 112(in), stainless steel propellers. Mounted in kort nozzles, for a rated 3,900 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 99kW/480V, John Deere 6068-50 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 110,000 gallons of fuel, 2,500 gallons of lube oil, and 10,000 gallons of water.
The towing equipment consists of an INTERcon 225, double drum, towing winch. With gypsy head, and capstan. Outfitted with 2600(ft) of 2.25(in) towing wire. Driven by a single, John Deere 6068TA diesel engine. With Funk 2000 torque converter, and three speed transmission.
With a 30 horsepower, electric and hydraulic, McElroy 528 capstan. Outfitted with 1.8(in) wire on the bow.
