Bay Street is the primary north-south thoroughfare in the heart of Toronto's Financial District. The name "Bay Street" is often used as a metonym (like "Wall Street" in New York) to refer to the entire Canadian financial sector.
Financial Hub: The section of Bay Street, between Queen Street West and Front Street West, houses the headquarters of most of the major Canadian banks ("The Big Five"), investment firms, and the country's largest law offices.
Architecture: The street is defined by tall, modern office skyscrapers, such as the First Canadian Place and the Royal Bank Plaza, showcasing commanding corporate architecture.
PATH: Bay Street is central to the PATH system, the network of underground pedestrian walkways that connects the financial district, allowing workers and visitors to move between buildings, malls, and transit stations during the cold winter months.

Then, I realized I was near one of the viewpoints I’d researched and decided to check it out.
I arrived on top of the Queen’s Quay Parking Garage, with a view of the Gardiner Expressway, Rogers Centre and the CN Tower. On this night the CN Tower was just a stem, disappearing into the clouds, but, the my the fog has suddenly become my alley...
